Overview
Avoid the mobs of people sightseeing on land, and opt for this Manhattan architecture yacht cruise instead. From the teak deck of the boat, learn about New York City's architectural landmarks as you circumnavigate the island and listen to the 'Around Manhattan' narration provided by members of the American Institute of Architects (AIA). One beer or glass of wine is provided, as well as soda.

The boat departs from Chelsea Piers, on Pier 62, which is located at West 22nd Street and the Hudson River. We are at the northernmost end of the Chelsea Piers on the water. When walking to Chelsea Piers, you must cross the West Side Highway. There are crosswalks at 18th, 20th and 23rd Street. When standing on the west side highway facing the river (facing west), go around the north side of the large blue building. Our ticket booth is located steps from the dock on Pier 62. Please check in at the Classic Harbor Line ticket booth upon arrival, and you will be escorted to the boat by the Captain when it is time to board. If lost please call 212.627.1825.

- Guarantee of a full circumnavigation of Manhattan is not included. On rare occasions, the Spuyten Duyvil train bridge is inoperable and cannot open for us to pass through. This is often times not known until our tour is underway. River closures may also occur for a number of reasons. There are no refunds for tours that cannot fully circumnavigate. We will accommodate such cases with a tour that features a double backing of the route and further detail of the waterfront sites.
- Not for children under 14 years due to this cruise being a heavily-narrated tour experience. We recommend families to join us on Statue & Skyline tours, day sails or any other minimally narrated day time event

Informative and Thorough Tour

We saw so many landmarks from the boat. The tour is long - after all, it takes awhile going all the way around Manhattan - but accompanied by expert commentary, I felt I learned a lot about the geography, history, and architecture of the city!

Perfect day for a yacht cruise to see Manhattan! Our guide from the AIA was very knowledgeable about significant architectural buildings. Small boat and not crowded. Captain and crew were very professional. Loved seeing Manhattan from this perspective.

What a fantastic tour! Our guide was fantastic; knowledgeable without being condescending, enthusiastic without being obnoxious. Everyone who works on the boat is delightful, as well. This was such a fun and interesting way to not only learn about the architecture of New York, but also lots of really interesting history. I found it particularly neat that we got to see parts of Manhattan, New York, and New Jersey that you just would never see any other way. I came as a tourist, but I think it would be just as interesting for a local to see the city from a completely different perspective. 10/10, highly recommend.

One of the best tours I've taken of NY. The guide on this tour was knowledgeable, answered everyone's questions and kept the stories of NY architecture alive. The boat was great, everyone can see the sites and refreshments available. Safety was a priority. Definitely don't want to miss this. I'll be back in the spring to take one of their architectural walking tours.

The boat is gorgeous (We were on Manhattan 2), the staff was great and the guide was very educated and interesting. I also think that its really the best way to see the full NYC area skyline.

Perfect trip - even in the cold!

Can't imagine a better way to see the whole island of Manhattan. Granted, we had the the clearest weather (even though it was freezing!) for the cruise but the commentary and service was impeccable. Don't let the cold put you off - the inside of the boat was lovely and cosy warm.

Worst customer service and instructions ever! Don’t do it. Nobody to contact. Nobody tells you about board time and prep… I got there 5 mins post, with no instruction about listed time being departure or boarding time. Horrible, complete robbery for a 5 min discrepancy.
