First our tour guide Nathan did a fabulous job! He braved the 20 degree weather to give a very informative 6-hour walking tour experiencing the true NYC overview-- if you are physically able, can withstand the elements in December and can only take one tour this is the one for you This is the consensus of my party of 4 adults. Would have liked to be closer to the Empire State Building instead a view from afar. I have taken several Viator tours inside USA and foreign counties with no real disappointments. No worries - prompt - knowledgeable - personalable. This is my go-to guided tour company.

I was dreading this 6 hour walking tour on my 3rd day in NYC, due to the amount of walking I had done the previous days. However, I shouldn't have worried. Joel was an excellent, informative guide and made the tour feel very relaxed despite it covering a large area of Manhatten. I learnt a lot about the history of NYC and saw some amazing sights. I would recommend this tour as a way to cover most of the 'must see' sights.

We had a fabulous day with Tom, he was very informative about all the sights in NYC in a very amusing manner, nothing dull or boring here! He was also very considerate of the people in the tour, ensuring that we could all hear what he was saying and taking into account the age differences of the tour members. Definitely the highlight of our trip and well worth the money. Do it on your first day as we did and then you can decide where, if necessary, you can go back to. Great also to get your bearings in the city. Thanks Tom!!

Brilliant. A very interesting few hours, but you do need your walking feet.

I can't say enough good things about this tour! Tom was fantastic and we really appreciate everything he taught us about the city. We had a lot of fun hanging out with him and our awesome tour group for the day. We learned to use the subway, and managed to see almost every big tourist location Rockefeller building, Grand Central Station, Broadway, Times Square, Wall Street, 9/11 memorial, One World Trade Centre, Statue of Liberty, Chrysler building and a lot more with some really cool fun facts about everything. We also took a ride on the ferry which gave us a great view of the statue of liberty and the New York skyline. There was an hour to stop for lunch where he directed us to some delicious restaurants.
Loved this tour! Well worth the money! Highly recommend!

This tour was amazing. The guide was incredibly knowledgeable and entertaining. It is almost all walking with a couple of subway trips too. I particularly enjoyed the staten island ferry and seeing the statue of liberty as I had never seen it before and I was surprised at how small this was in comparison to how huge everything else is in New York!

Great tour for NYC newbies. We totally felt at ease with getting around the city on our own after this tour. We are glad we did this right away. Be advised it is a highlight tour. A couple of spots we got to explore up close but the rest we passed by like the Statue of Liberty.

This tour was truly amazing. Our tour guide, Josh, was very knowledgable, well-spoken, and really cared about creating a quality experience for the group. We saw some really beautiful architecture and the inspiring tribute at the 9-11 Memorial. The small-group format is preferable.

My mom and I took this small group tour and it was fabulous! There was only 10 of us and we each got a change to chat with Justina she's an actress-hope to see her in the broadway, tv or movies someday!, our awesome tour guide, and to each other. Justina was friendly, an awesome story teller and knowledgeable about the city and the places she took us. I love that the info Justina provide is just enough to make you interested in the place or building you are in and not too long that you get bored of it!

The tour itself is also great, we got to check out the Rockefeller Centre, Times Square this is where we met, NY public library make sure to look for the famous Rose Reading Room, 9/11 memorial you'll love the Survivor Tree, grand central terminal, got to ride the Staten Island ferry and got a glimpse of statue of liberty, wall street and so many more! At each place we were brought, we got to take in the sights or take pictures of everything by ourselves for a few minutes I've been on many tours all over the world and this is the first time that a tour allows you to do this, others feel like you're rushed and no time for pictures

For lunch, she brought us to this place called Eataly and OMG the food was delicious!! If you love pasta, go to the very back of Eataly, we had the most delicious pasta and pizza!

I definitely recommend this tour if this is your first time in NYC but make sure you wear very comfy shoes according to my iPhone, we walked about 33,000 steps-I have short legs!

Our tour guide, Tom, was totally awesome! He brought the NYC native's point of view combined with a scholar's expertise and passion. I also liked the way he kept track of our group. No lost sheep on his watch. The 6 hours flew by easy-peasy fun and informative.

April 2017

Hi there

I went on the 6hr city tour on Fri 14th April - absolutely brill...!!! Our guide was Jenn Andres - she was perfect - introduced all the tour travellers by name to each other to make everyone feel like a family - that put us all at ease and we all bonded from that point - the tour itself was faultless in my opinion - we visited all the places as promised and learned a bit about each one not too much info - that would have blown our minds!! - just the basic background history, dates etc - Jenn was very knowledgeable - any questions answered concisely - she made everyone in the party feel equally welcome, sharing her time between each person as we walked from place to place - she particularly made a little 11yr old boy who was with his parents but a bit shy feel part of the adult group by bringing him into all the conversations - by the end he was chatting with everyone!! - we all learned a lot about New York and I was very impressed with her approach and the overall product - some of us bonded so well we all went out for a few drinks afterwards - and we took Jenn with us......!!! perfect start to my holiday in the Big Apple - well done and thanks again Jenn
