Check-in is 30 minutes before your flight time. The heliport is a large gray cement building with a big clock on the front. Please let security know you are flying with Helicopter Flight Services and they will direct you to our staff.

Due to comfort and weight / balance of the aircraft, passengers weighing over 275 lbs may be unable to fly. If passengers require a seat belt extender they will not be able to attend

We travelled with our grandchildren for the helicopter ride, but we only booked them for the ride. We were going to wait for them. Please note that you cannot wait inside the building if you are not going on the ride. It was 16 degrees outside and we are in our 70's...and we literally had to beg to be let inside and get permission to wait for them. If we would have known we would have made arrangements. However, the manager let us in and otherwise it was an excellent experience!

The best Christmas Eve !!

This was a one in a life time opportunity and we grabbed it with both hands. What an experience. Worth every single penny. From beginning to end it was magical. Seeing New York’s sky line on Christmas Eve is just something else. The company was professional and friendly. Safety was certainly part of their role. They took this very seriously which made you feel safe. Thank you so much. You must buy your photos after. They are a keepsake. We went for the printed out option instead of a phone transfer photo. You must book. We booked the evening flight and it was spectacular.

Amazing views

I recently had the opportunity to take a helicopter ride, and while the experience was exhilarating and offered breathtaking views, I was left a bit disappointed by the duration of the flight. Initially, I was excited to embark on a 17 to 20-minute adventure, but the ride lasted only 12 minutes, which was disappointing.

After sunset was the best!!

Such an amazing experience!! First time in NYC with my girlfriend and we decided to go big with the helicopter tour of the city during Christmas after sunset and it was beautiful!! The helicopter was comfortable except for the 1 middle seat which is a double edge sword since the headroom was not great so I had to shrink down a little bit in my seat (and I am 5’ 11”) but I got to see out of both sides of the helicopter which was cool. Seating in the helicopter is not based on choice, it’s based on weight. But, the staff does make an effort to keep you with your significant other. They take a photo of you before you got on a helicopter which was $20, might as well get it lol. The photo quality was meh though, they should upgrade from using a cheap dslr with a kit lens. Other than that, the staff was friendly and the experience was amazing!

Great experience, but helicopter cramped.

Well organised and professional operator. Tour was short but very memorable, the weather helped to ensure we had a smooth ride and the visibility was great. Downside was that the helicopter was very cramped, much smaller than the other tourist helicopters we have been in in Hawaii and Las Vegas.
