I took my daughter to NYC as a graduation present. She is a big fan of Mob Wives and has been obsessed with the mob for awhile. My wife found this walking tour online and we booked it. Bam! Home Run!!! My daughter was thrilled! Our guide Kyle was knowlegable beyond belief! We learned so much, details about things, events and people I had heard about and the same things about MANY others that I did not! Kyle's attention to detail, speaking manner and pace were all spot on! My daughter followed him around like a puppy Kyle if you are reading this I know you remember her! I can't begin to explain the tremendous value of this tour! Out of a possible Kyle gets a 100! If you are interested in mob history, want a great tour of Little Italy I STRONGLY suggest you book it!
Tour was great! Kyle did a great job. I know a fair amount about the Costra Nostra and I got blown away with new information. Definitely a must do tour that and #39;s different than all the popular tourist attractions.
Really interesting trip......Kyle knew his stuff and brought stories to life. Thank you
We thoroughly enjoyed the tour. The guide was knowledgeable and interesting.
Kyle kept us very interested in this very realistic and informative tour of Little Italy on a cold and wet morning. From the early days of the five families to the recent times of ' Teflon John 'in the 1980 s.Great Stuff! Chris and Steve H.
Fantastic tour, brilliant knowledgeable guide who gave us lots of information and made it really interesting. I would recommend to all.
We really enjoyed this walking tour, learning about the really interesting history of Little Italy. Kyle, our guide was very friendly, and had great communication skills.
A great insight into the mob and how they operated fascinating and lots of sites from movies.
Really great tour! The tour guide was friendly and really knowledgeable and all the stops on the tour were fascinating. Perfect length of time too as you had enough time to find out load but not so long your walking for too long. Definitely would recommend!
My 18 year old son and myself greatly enjoyed this tour. The tour guide, Justin, was engaging and informative. Unfortunately renovation work is being carried out on old St Patrick's Cathedral so we couldn't go and visit the interior. We saw the house where Martin Scorsese grew up, the bar where Al Pacino and Johnny Depp had the ring scene in Donnie Brasco, walking down Mulberry St is evocative of many old films, and more recently my son's favorite The Sopranos. Highly recommended.
We had a great time! We learned so much! The guide was very accommodating! Thanks!
Great fun and Justin was hugely knowledgeable about the Mafia and had tons of good stories. Would recommend anyone to do this tour when next they are in NYC
We enjoyed our tour of Little Italy, Chinatown, and Tribeca alot. Our tour guide, Alex was phenomenal!!! He gave us a wealth of knowledge about the history of the NY Mafia. I would recommend this tour to anyone who would like to know more about it. It is evident that Alex is very passionate about history and enjoys relaying his knowledge about it to others!!!
Great tour, very very interesting. We did this tour because our little son loves everything related to gangsters. But in the end we and the other children loved this tour. The tourguide Alex gave us so much information. Best tourguide ever.
LOVED Walter! He had great information about Little Italy and was great! The weather sucked, but he was out there with us!
Although it was a cold day out, I give this tour 5/5 stars b/c it was a fantastic 2 hours spent walking around Little Italy ( and surrounds) with an extremely knowledgeable guide. Great way to see a different part of NY and learn something interesting while at it.
Tour was great and the guide was very knowledgeable and fun. We had a wonderful time and thoroughly enjoyed this tour.
My wife and I had a lovely time on this tour. We had a very informative and delightful tour guide by the name of Kyle who took the time to get to know everyone, and showed us a lot of cool and interesting places! Now we know where to get the best food and history all in one, and we have insider mob information and stories to tell for many years to come! Completely worth it :
The subject matter is so interesting, but we were left wishing there were more stories, more in depth talk. The fact that it is held on Saturdays, when Mulberry St is closed to traffic is GREAT! We've lived in NY for over 40 years and didn't know that takes place every Sat!!! Really enjoyed that!
The tour was very interesting. Our guide was knowledgeable and very nice. I would recommend it. I have one suggestion. I know tours have tight schedules, but I would recommend building in a 10 to 15 min stop at a coffee shop/deli in the neighborhood, after the 1st hour. A couple of stories normally shared while walking could be shared while everyone can hear and appreciate a bit of a break in a comfortable setting. I earned "cool mom" points from my son for arranging this excursion!
