This was a brilliant tour. The guide was very enthusiastic and knowledgable about New York. The service was good but even though I was the only English person there, the guide did the tour in French and English which I thought was thoughtful to do. This is a must do FIRST tour to know the area.
I would have prefer only english not mix with the french but we enjoy it
Help to discover NY city when you arrive and we obtain many infor, ation on place to go or not for the following days by ourself
Disappointed with one or two restaurants we had visited in the past and the hotel itself was not as we last remembered it from only two years ago. That said, the city remains as exciting as ever and really is a must do!
The Times Square experience never disappoints and the theatre productions are second to none. We were on the front row for Phantom of the Opera. Brilliant!! The American Museum of Natural History is well worth a visit. A return visit ion a year::s time is called for.
Pretty good idea of the main neighborhoods in NYC. Got to get off a few times for a little bit but wish we could have stopped more. Overall a good tour to help you get an idea of the areas you want to return to.
Efficient. Interesting commentary by someone who sounded enthusiastic.

Much more personal than the hop on hop type tours now in to every major city in the world. Extremely knowledgeable tour guide, with a vast local knowledge, who actually lived in the area.
Not very exciting or out of the ordinary. Tour guide was very friendly but was looking to do more of the touristy areas.
The pick up location was not clearly marked. The Harlem Spirituals office was not listed on the sign on the building. Tour guide as wonderful Ellen and very knowledgeable. I would have liked to be able to go inside some of the sites St. Patrick's Cathedral Also, the poor bus driver was in a hurry to get to his next tour at two PM. Due to the heavy traffic he was going to be very late. Perhaps you shouldn't schedule the drivers so close to their next tour.
I will never again take a tour where two languages are used. It was not the fault of the guide, but I feel I would have gotten more information if the tour was in english only.
Fair. Was expecting visit to the statue itself but was not the case.
Got to see a lot.
Disappointing tour. To start off, the meet up place was deceiving I had to call the 800 on my itinerary for guidance. Second, the tour of Little China and Little Italy is a DRIVE BY only, so there is no opportunity for shopping at all. Third, and possibly the worst, is that 90 of the tour was given in FRENCH! I would have appreciated a heads up as I do not speak the language, and therefore missed out on any potential history given during the sightseeing. Do not recommend.
Unfortunately the trip did not live up to our expectations. Our guide was a lovely energetic lady, however, she missed many of the landmarks and we kept stopping for coffee/cigarette breaks! There was no commentary around Central Park and there did not appear to be any historic or interesting stories on our stop at the financial district, having already visited Ground zero the day before.
While the tour was nice - comfortable coach, interesting sights ect, we were rather annoyed that the tour is actually a foreign language tour! we were the only english speaker and while the tour guide was fantastic, he spent most of the time explaining everything in french and then gave us a very quick summary. really felt like we missed out and it was annoying that we paid for the privilege of a tour in french!
