New York Tour by Subway and Bus with Private Guide

Did more walking in 20 degree weather than subway travel.

One of the best tours of our trip. Our tour guide was very knowledgable of the city and all areas of New York. Our group consisted of
3 generations of women. We were all very interested in all the areas he showed us. After his class in taking the subway, we were on
our way the rest of the vacation using that mode of transportation. I would highly recommend it to anyone who is not familiar with
the different areas of the city.

This was worthwhile, we saw things you just don't see without a guide. It's a lot of walking but flat and easy streets. Recommend this tour.

Our guide was Dana and she did an amazing job given the flooding rain on the day of the tour. Dana is knowledgeable of the city and was able to quickly adjust the tour and turn what could have been a miserable day into a day of fun. She found us dry places to tour, like Grand Central Station, Rockefeller Center, St. Patrick's Cathedral, Trinity Church and Federal Hall. Dana taught us how to use the subway system which we found extremely helpful---my child gets carsick in taxis.
The company was very professional--responding within 24 hours to my emails. The day before the tour, they called me to tell me Dana would be our tour guide and where we would meet her. When we couldn't find Dana our fault--we were in the wrong place, Dana quickly called us and we found each other.

Our guide Dynah met us on time in the hotel lobby and took us to a 5 hour trip to New York. Very good as an introduction to the city. Recommended.
