Tour guide and bus driver was awesome. The tour guide was so funny and she really knew her stuff. Ran late to the meeting spot, they sent out someone to pick us up and catch us up on what we missed and brought us to the group. Would and #39;ve never seen everything I saw or known the story behind of it all.

Brilliant 5 hours or so with Gil our knowledgeable guide. He knows everything about New York.Started at 5th Ave Rockerfeller Centre/St Patricks Cathedral and Gil pointed other buildings and shared his information.Travelled through Chinatown/Little Italy/Greenwich Village down to Wall St area.Ground Zero a deserving memory to the victims.Lunch was taken and then a one hour boat trip to Statue of Liberty which was wonderful.Back to Central Park and Strawberry Fields.Wonderful day out and would recommend.

Absolutely fabulous tour! This was my first time in New York. Our tour guide, Tyler, was knowledgeable and friendly. She took time to explain everything, answer questions and give us advice about the best places to see and eat around NYC. The tour went longer than scheduled because it took us to all the major landmarks, including a boat to the Statue of Liberty, with ample time for photographs and walking around. Our driver, Roy, did an amazing job of negotiating all the traffic and one way streets. I would highly recommend this tour New York and I will certainly be taking Viator tours during future travels.

I wish I could give this experience more stars it was WONDERFUL beyond words! Our tour was January 20th, the same day as the Women's March against Trump, so the streets of New York were even more packed with tourists than usual. Our City Tour guide was Gil--he is the BEST! He was extremely knowledgeable about the history of NYC as well as eccentric and unique residents. He also knew a lot about the pop culture of the City so there was something for everyone. He was an interesting fellow and his delivery was warm, funny and poignant at times. I could tell that he really, really enjoys sharing the city that he loves with other people. If you take this tour in winter, be sure to keep up with the weather forecast and dress accordingly layers are great. Pack an umbrella too. The tour meets BEHIND the Winter Garden Theatre--make sure you are there on time for pickup at the correct location. If you don't already know it, this is very much a walking tour. There are quite a few stops where the bus you are traveling in stops and you will get off and walk with your tour group for blocks before being picked up again by the bus's driver who is different from your tour guide. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes. We stopped for a half hour for lunch, and I was quite hungry then. If you have a choice between a food buffet and eating a slice of Margarita pizza at Little Italy carry-out -- go for the pizza. It is the BEST! Your tour includes a stop at the 9-11 Memorial Site and a boat ride out to the Statue of Liberty. I was ill-prepared for the emotional feelings I experienced at both of these sites. We all went lived through the terrible time of the 9-11 attack, but I was not prepared for the grief I would feel standing at the site. A different kind of emotion came up at the Statue of Liberty...I remember learning about immigrants in high school and visiting the Statue during a school field trip, but now decades later seeing that statue was a whole new experience. Living my life in between all those years gave it a fresh perspective...what people endured, the sacrifices they made back then, to come to America for a fresh start. This one day tour of New York was one of the best travel experiences of my life, and Viator puts together some amazing trips. One last thing: Be sure to take a couple of snacks along with you it will take the edge off your hunger if the lunch stop is a little late.

This tour is outstanding! We loved that we were able to see NYC from both a bus with a guide and then by water taxi. The winds were very strong the day we were there so we had to sit inside the boat, which wasn't as nice as being outside. The views from the water however, are spectacular and the guide was humorous and knowledgeable. Will definitely do this one again. I loved being able to walk among the New York iconic buildings and sites and Taylor our guide was outstanding! She was so informative and had so much history and fun tidbits of information to tell us that....I took notes! I thought that for the price, this tour was by far the best one out there. If you want to hop on hop off this one isn't for you, because it's with a group of about 30 people who stay together the entire 5 hours, but we loved this way of seeing NYC.

It was the best spent money ever. The tour guide Tyler was amazing as was driver Antonio . The knowledge that Tyler passed on to us was amazing considering it was for 5and a half hours I could have gone on it more days while we were there. We saw everything we were supposed to whilst visiting New York and I would highly recommend it to any visitors to your great city. I was on the tour with my daughter and my 2 grandchildren aged 7 and 9 and they also enjoyed it and the river cruise although it was so cold and raining at times.

This was well worth the money. Nice small group, good driver in Roy and very good commentary and tips by Gil. The breaks are well planned, you get to see the main sights, and good photo opportunities even on a dull rainy day. Good trip around the Statue of Liberty. Overall would recommend for first timers in NYC.

We did the tour on our first day in NYC and were so pleased we did. It's pretty whistle-stop but gets you around all of the main sites and even on the rivers. Our tour guide was Gill and he was brilliant. We finished the tour at the Dakota Buildings and Strawberry Fields in Central Park which was a real highlight for us as we're big Beatles and John Lennon fans.

The highlight of the tour was seeing John Lennon's home on the anniversary of his death AND there was a musical celebration going on in Strawberry Fields, his commemorative section of Central Park, across the street. Quite a delightful serendipity. GREAT guide.

This was a great tour to give us a full view of the city and highlight the historic sites and places of interest. Mike, our tour guide, was interesting and quite knowledgeable. We had a great time on the bus and water taxi!
