This was amazing, the views were exceptional. Although the renting of the iPad was 15 to view what all the surrounding buildings were it was well worth it! Such a humbling experience and a beautiful building, such a fitting tribute.I would highly recommend this.
Outstanding experience, the entire visit was very well organized. I'm terrified of heights but, really wanted to visit. It wasn't bad. The elevator ride up was 47 seconds but, once you get up to the 102nd floor I didn't find it frightening. They did a great job with the design. Really fantastic!
Don't buy the skip the line ticket. It wasn't crowded during the winter. But the restaurant and views were awesome!!!
We bought the tickets on line prior to our trip. On arrival we quickly proceeded to the viewing decks with no waiting. It was a clear day and we arrived late afternoon and saw the sun set. We then saw the city basked in neon at night. A great afternoon out. If you have the time this is well worth the money.
Sunset over Manhattan, New Jersey, Staten Island, fantastic, what a view, not to be missed!
My older brother and I we are senior citizens visited NYC in Oct of 2016 and we found it quite a wonderful and exciting city. This was his first visit and we had an incredible time, seeing and doing as many of the city's highlights as we could in 3 days. The One World Observatory was such a moving and special exhibit. Seeing the fountain wall with all the names of the 911 victims before we went inside was such an emotional and heartfelt experience. Seeing beautiful white roses among the names, honoring their birthdays was so moving. Once inside this magnificent building, the 360 degree views of New York and the harbors was life changing. Truly a bucket list experience and one I would highly recommend. The crowds are manageable and the staff couldn't be nicer and more helpful. Have a good camera ready, because there are so many opportunities to take pictures. I also found the souvenirs in the gift shop to be of quality and well priced. We did not feel rushed in our 90 minute window of time. Highly recommend doing this exhibit.
One World Observatory was a wonderful experience. The aha moment was after the documentary... when the curtains go down. Strongly recommend going in the night, especially if you are into photography. Was not too impressed with the pic they took and tried selling after coming down.... most likely it might have been because we were late, and they were in a rush to get home as well.
Buying tickets through viator saved us a few ... thanks Viator
Unparrallled views of New York City. The lift ride, both up and down, was amazing, even the introduction video prior to you entering the observation floor has it's own surprise. All the staff were friendly and more than willing to answer any questions. Take the time to watch and listen to the15 minute information sessions given at the two locations on floor 100, they're both interesting and very interactive. A great experince overall.
Another must see sight in NY, we went on a clear blue sky October day. I would recommend booking as when our allotted time came we walked straight through and onto the elevator to take us to the top. I'm not going to spoil it for those that haven't been but even the elevator ride was amazing, that's before you get to see the view from the top. A great visit and a great day out.
The lines were not short, but they moved quickly and all was well organized. The ride up the elevator is terrific, with a show on the walls of the elevator, detailing the growth of NYC over the centuries, until you reach the top- modern day. There is a 2 minute presentation, and the wall in front of you in the entrance hallway, rises, revealing the panoramic view from the top. We ate at OneDine restaurant, with really good food, and memories of Windows on the World for me. Don't miss the observatory!
Definitely get there for the first entrance. There will be no one around and you'll be able to see more.
Best view I've had so far, and I've done most of the big sights...
Easy access, no waiting. Lift ride was very fast but smooth. Views were breath taking.
The One World Observatory has amazing 360 degree unobstructed views of most of NYC and parts of New Jersey.
Some of the landmarks you can see include the Statue of Liberty, Brooklyn and Manhattan Bridges, Empire State building, Chrysler Building and the Top of the Rockefeller Center.
Best time to go is about midday on a sunny day for clear long distance views, don't worry about crowds, the observatory is large enough to accomodate lots of people.
I could have spent all day up there if I didn't have multiple other places to visit during my holiday / vacation.
Buying tickets in advance allowed us to skip the line which saved some precious time. There is no time limit on how long you can stay in the Observatory so a good experience all round

Anybody taking a trip to New York and have 2 hours to spare, a trip to the One World Observatory is well worth it. The views from the observatory are breathtaking.
This was a must do tour for the city. This building is astounding. The view is so good, but if possible avoid overcast days. It's probably a five mile view in any direction if the skies are clear. Elevator ride is unique too as the history of Manhattan is played out in 12 seconds in front of you. Highly recommend as a one time experience.
Time well spent... Fantastic view and having the cafeteria there, is perfect.
This has got to have been the best experience we had on our recent trip to New York. Anyone thinking of doing it don and #39;t think twice as you will love it. The views are breath taking of the whole of NY City.
