It was interesting to know about the anecdotes and the history of Stonewall. It helps in better understanding the neighborhood and the riots. The guide was very knowledgeable. It is unfortunate that the neighborhood can be noisy and so it wasn't always easy to understand.
    Facinating and informative!

Very informative, we loved learning the history of New York's part in the LGBT+ rights movement. Our guide was very well spoken and full of facinating information.

The areas & content were very interesting. Loved learning more about PRIDE history. There was even a woman in our group who was in the very first PRIDE march in 1970. Listening to her history and stories added so much content and energy to this tour.

It was good to here about the struggles in new york. Even as we did in England a few years later.tbr guide was worth listening to. Would have been better with a few more of the riot details. And a good walk around the area. He took his time to make sure everyone did not miss out on anything.

Really interesting history of the Stonewall and how it fits into the gay civil rights movement was provided on this hour-long tour. Guide was very knowledgeable about the subject matter and I came away with a greater appreciation of the neighborhood and where gay civil rights in the US all began. Definitely worth it!

First off, props for not canceling on me when was the only one for a late night tour on a Monday night! Great info that may be in contradiction to other sources but the connections and stories make the whole thing come alive. The guides having access to first person sources makes everything feel a little closer than all the years between. For a small area, there was a great deal of information and well delivered with feeling and conversation.
    Absolutely recommendable

I really felt that the history and perspective of the Greenwich Village gave great insight to the events of 1969. My tour guide Joe was very informative and did a great job pointing out the historical sites (including Stonewall Inn, Julius Bar, Marie Crisis, the first LGBT bookstore...) and role in the events of the 1969's and current. I can only recommend this...
