Ride cancelled due to Snow: No Refund

THIS IS A SCAM!!! We booked a horse ride on Saturday January 28th, but the ride was cancelled due to excessive snow. That would have been fine, except they refused to refund our money which we already paid. If you book, make sure you DO NOT pay in advance. Do not pay until you arrive, otherwise you will get no refund even if the ride is cancelled.

Plenty of pictures taken and enjoyed immensely but they are still in my I Phone and not yet available in my computer to send. Our horse, Chocolate, as was our driver were great.

The carriages never arrived. We waited in the cold and dark with a 3 and 4 year old . After a lot of calls saying they was on way never turned up. Got told could have a refund. We are now home and have tried to get a refund and they viator are saying no to the refund . Will never use viator again which is a shame because we had used them lots before.

My driver never showed up I had this planned for Christmas day it was a disappointing upsetting for me and my family I strongly suggest to people not to make any reservation with this company, I ended up using service so I was already there it cost me less and I’m still waiting for my refund

It was beautiful, the views and history of the park was awesome, my problem was the wait and it was raining, tgere is couple of people schedule at the same time, we were there before other people and they got in first, the guy did not ask who was here first.

Romantic ride through Central Park

Because there was such a high demand for carriages, we had to wait a bit for our driver. But, once our driver showed up we got in and were on our way. The scenery was beautiful... the history behind the different landmarks and locations was intriguing. It was extremely romantic. The driver was knowledgeable and friendly. I will definitely do this again when I return!!

I was confirmed an 8pm appointment. I was asked via phone to reschedule to 7:15pm because there was no driver availability at my original time. I rescheduled my 7:00pm dinner reservation to 8:15pm to accommodate their request and showed up at 7:10pm. I spoke with several carriage drivers and no one had my reservation. When I mentioned Central Park Sightseeing (the vendor responsible for my carriage ride), NOT ONE driver said anything positive about the CPS's owner. I called the contact number to find out when/if my driver would show. They said to wait as he might be running a little late. By 7:45pm--no driver. There were other available drivers just sitting there wanting business, but neither the 3 other couples or myself wanted to pay again (they only take cash and guilt you into a tip on top). Again, I called for an arrival time but they were unable to provide one and again suggested I wait to see what happens. Keep in mind it's roughly 40 degrees outside and I had a child in my group. I waited until 8:00pm until I took another driver. Had to pay cash (luckily I had it), but at least we got to see Central Park during the holiday season. It being so late, I had to cancel my rescheduled dinner reservation and ended up eating deli pizza instead. Not a Merry Christmas in my book. I emailed requesting a full $155.36 refund. To say I am extremely frustrated would be an understatement.

Thought I would be organised and book this horse and carriage ride - what a mistake! Upon arrival at Central Park we were treated with distain by all the carriage operators as they clearly want cash or payment there and then. We booked for 10am and had to wait until 10.45 to get a driver willing to take us! I called the helpline and was just told to cancel if the delay was too long. Don’t bother booking there are plenty of operators wanting to pick up passengers.

The driver was extremely rude & would not honor my reservation. He told me he did not want my company & he has no business working with the public. All the drivers wanted cash and I wasn’t the only person they did this to. Very disappointed and DO NOT RECOMMEND!

Lined up for carriage ride and was told by multiple drivers that they did not take reserved guests. Apparently the carriages limited to reservations also preferred cash tourists as no carriages were actually present at reservation window. There were three other families waiting. Evidently paying up front and the company will take your reservation but the company does not know how to hold a reservation. Would not recommend this to anyone. Bright spot, my refund request was performed promptly.

It was confusing when we showed up because there is no one there to check you in. A bunch of men were standing there selling rides and when I showed him my reservation he said, that company is no good, they have no drivers here, a scam. I called the customer service number and was told to approach a driver directly. Lucky enough I found a driver who was extremely nice and helpful. He found my reservation and made our experience wonderful!!
