We only had a few hours since this was our last day in NYC and we wanted to visit the Statue of Liberty. Our tour guide Nikki was amazing! This is a great tour if you don't have a lot of time.
Kristen was a wonderful guide even got down on her back to take our picture with the Statue hovering over us! She is very knowledgeable and you can tell she loves what she does.
This was amazing! Such good value and the guide was great - once you tumbled to his New York sense of humour! I would absolutely recommend this tour.
Mark was a great tour guide! Recommended for first time visitors to get the narrative.
We thoroughly enjoyed the 3.5 hour tour of the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island with Kristin. It went by quickly and we appreciated all the info Kristin had. She made everyone in our group feel comfortable and included. Would highly recommend this tour and Kristin! She even took pictures for us!
Uncle Jeffrey is a great lover of history of Ellis Island and Lady Liberty. He gave us insight into the creation and building of the statue one would not get in history books as well as the building of Ellis Island and those who came thru there. Weather was perfect.
The tour was fantastic! A great deal was due to our guide Christine. She was very personable, knowledgeable and helpful. You could really feel how passionate she was about her job! Thanks again Chrisine for a great experience.
My wife and I felt doubly blessed to find this great tour option. First, we didn't plan it until the last minute, but found it easy to find and very well-done. Our guide, Kristen, was so pleasant, helped us stay on pace through the security wickets, kept us alert of the best places to view things and even laid on the ground to take our pictures from the base of the Statue of Liberty. Second, its early start is SO important as you avoid the crush of people that begins just an hour later. By the time we came down from the Statue's pedestal, Liberty Island was swamped with people. We also enjoyed riding the PATH train into WTC and taking the 15 minute walk down Broadway past the historic St. Paul's and Trinity churches and the W.S. Bull. We grabbed breakfast from a deli and ate at the picnic tables in front of Pier A House, the link up point, with a view of Battery Park and the Statue. It was perfect!
Uncle Jeffrey was so charming. He brought life to the history surrounding the statue and the plight of immigrants coming through Ellis Island. The early access was worth it! Seeing the crowds showing up later in the day made us grateful we got started so early!
Rob was great. Good value for the money. No lines at ferry or on the islands.
