Why Travelers Choose This Tour
See One World Observatory and lesser-known sites like St. Peter's Chapel and the 11 Tears Memorial.
Meet up with your group and guide at St. Peter's Chapel in the afternoon. You’ll start your exploration of the events of September 11th by learning about the key role this religious refuge played for locals and families.
Hear a range of stories about the New York locals and victims who came to St. Paul’s to pray and gather news in the hours that followed the immediate attack. You’ll also get to view some of the many pieces of personal memorabilia, photos, cards and hand-drawn imagery left by visitors as a tribute to the attack victims.
Continue your 9/11 visit by heading to the American Express 11 Tears Memorial, a lesser-known landmark not typically seen by site visitors. The memorial is a moving tribute to the 11 employees of this financial firm who lost their lives on September 11th. During this stop you’ll also get to see the Winter Garden, a plaza now restored to its former glory that was destroyed during the attack.
Head next to the twin reflecting pools, built into the foundation sites where the Twin Towers once stood. Take a look at the engraved names of the attack victims around the edge of the pools and learn about the staff tradition of placing a rose next to victims’ names each year on their birthday. You’ll also celebrate the brave firefighters who lost their lives at the Fireman’s Memorial and view the Survivor’s Tree, which miraculously survived the attacks and has become a symbol of New Yorkers’ resilience.
Finish your September 11th-themed excursion by heading to the top of One World Trade Center, now the tallest building the Western Hemisphere. You’ll enjoy a pre-reserved admission that guarantees admission regardless of long lines, plus an independent visit to this observatory in the clouds.
Learn about the building’s innovative engineering and enjoy the ‘skypod’ elevators, which recreate historic views of New York between the 1600s and present day right before your eyes. Cap off the experience by marveling at the sky-high views of the city from this panoramic viewing site. Your excursion finishes here.

It was good to see the world trade center but the guide took forever to get there. Lots of walking in circles. LOVED the observatory.
I did not realize I booked the 2 hour walking tour with Rob prior to the Observatory. The tour with Rob was excellent! Much more information than we would have known if we did not take the tour. I highly recommend this tour with Rob!
Walking tour was excellent. JEFF did a great job. Plan to go before the sun sets otherwise your pictures will reflect the glass. Note this tour does not include the museum. That's unclear. I really wanted to see that. Can take the subway A, C or E train. A or C takes you right to St Paul's Chape
Loved our walking tour and all the information imparted to us by our wonderful tour guide Rob. Very informative and thorough. The One World Observatory was a little too Disneyesque for our taste but the views are magnificent.
