We really enjoyed this tour of three of the great symbols of American freedom and democracy led by Patrick Fitzpatrick. The NYC native added historical facts, personal anecdotes and interesting views on the meaning and significance of the three sites to the U.S. and NY. The tour was well organized with enough time at each stop. Tour guide was effective at avoiding lines and keeping our group on time. The time between the am and pm portion gave us added time at Ellis Island and a chance for our own lunch choice. The 911 memorial tour really provided an expanded perspective on the effect on the area around the towers and the people there that day. It went well beyond the memorial itself to sites and other memorials in the area that we never would have discovered on our own. Patrick added personal anecdotes about that tragic that included his relationship to the first responders that were very poignant.

Really nice trip, from the boat ride to the liberty island, to walking around the island, amazing views as well, we really enjoyed it and our tour guide was really informative.
We also took the 911 museum tour and that was so touching, amazing tour.

We had Kevin for a guide, he was very knowledgeable and very engaging. How ever this is an intense walking tour and not for the faint of heart. My husband is very deaf and appreciated the headphone boxes...My only suggestion to offer alternative ear phones who those who have hearing loss in their right ear. Thanks Kevin

Matt is the best. Entertaining, knowledgeable, and just plain fun. We had a great experience and would highly recommend him. He gave us history and stories we will remember and repeat. He is well traveled and can answer any question you ask.

My family had a great time with our tour guide. She was helpful, informed and fun to be around. The operator of the company was extremely helpful in working with my family. We had to adjust our tour prior to our arrival to NY and then had a few last minute family member who joined us on the day of the tour. Without hesitation all our accommodations were met. That was spectacular!! Without doubt we will use and recommend this company again.

Both guides were really impressive, good humour and knowledge. Weather was great on the day so all views were fantastic. Stories were balanced between joy and tragedy for both Ellis Island and 9/11 memorial

Excellent all day tour. Tour guide was very knowledgeable and able to share his knowledge in a way that added to the experience. Weather was not the best, but ultimately didn't detract from the experience. A great way to check off several bucket list items in a single day.

Booked this for my 10 yr old daughter and I and I'm SO glad we did. This adventure was amazing. Our tour guide Derek was great, very informative and if you want that perfect picture, he's NOT afraid to literally lay down on the ground to get that perfect shot. Great Tour, great value for what we got and I highly recommend. If you get Derek as your tour guide, even better!!

Matt did an amazing job. He knew so much about NYC and little tidbits about other things, not just the places we visited. Highly recommended. It was a long day, but totally worth it. We very much enjoyed it. Thanks!

Excellent tour for first timers or people like me revisiting NYC after 20 something years. Kevin Fitzpatrick, our tour guide was outstanding! Probably the best tour guide I have ever had, very knowledgeable and passionate about his job and also a writer!!! We had a blast but please be prepared to walk a lot even if you did not add 9/11 museum option to your tour. By a lot I mean good 6 hours walking and standing including climbing 250 steps to Statue of Liberty's pedestal. But it was good exercise plus we learned a lot and 9/11 memorial was astonishing.

Awesome tour! Learned so much from our tour guide Sal who is a wealth of information. It's really a smart move to take an organized tour through these sites as you don't waste time in lines or wandering around trying to determine where you should be. Would highly recommend this tour to anyone.

Kevin did a great job guiding us on our tour. He is very knowledgeable, a true history buff. We added the 911 museum and one World Trade Center to our tour. It made for an extremely long day. Be prepared to walk a lot. I suggest breaking this up into 2 days.

This tour was really good! Our tour guide, Kevin, was the best, he was very knowledgeable about the history of the Statue of Liberty and the World Trade Center. He was very accommodating and the tour was not fast paced, Kevin took his time and the walking was also paced, nothing too rigorous. But do make sure to dress appropriate for the weather and very good walking shoes because it is an 8-9 hour tour from 9AM-5PM.

Our day started out with a quick check-in in front of Starbucks, and once the groups were formed, we were given an audio headset to hear the tour guide clearly, which was great because I noticed that other tour guides from other walking tours did not and people were having difficulty hearing them etc, but not with these headsets! There are 2 security checkpoints before entering the Statue of Liberty, which did take a while to go through but not too long. Also, if you do not want to struggle through buying a 2 locker and spending time locking your things away, make sure to not bring backpacks, large umbrellas, and water bottles because security will not let you in unless you lock your stuff away.

Once we got into the Statue of Liberty, Kevin explained everything that we needed to know about the Statue of Liberty and we probably spent 2 hours there, oh and be prepared to walk 5 floors of stairs to get to the pedestal, but there is the option to take the elevator. We then boarded the ferry to Ellis Island and the Immigration Museum, which was a beautiful moment to experience. After a quick tour, we had a 1.5-hour break and we met back at St. Paul's Chapel on our own and continued the afternoon portion of the walking tour to the World Trade Center with Kevin.

It was nice to learn about St. Paul's Chapel's role in the aftermath of the attacks. Kevin was very knowledgeable about every place in the walking tour. I did not do the 9/11 Museum nor the One World Observatory because after a long tour we needed to rest for the entire day.

A brilliant tour with exceptionally committed guides. The weather on the day we went was quite foggy so the view from the Observatory would have been poor but we were offered exchange tickets for the following day - this was an excellent outcome for us as the next day was brilliant weather. The tour round the outside of the 9/11 site was very thought provoking and the architecture of the Occulus was breathtaking as was the view from the Observatory itself.

Do not miss this tour!

Tour guide Sal was amazing, and very interesting all the information he shared. Headphone sets during the tour help to hear him. He had opportunity for breaks during tour. Ellis Island tour, regarding immigrants, and walking in my ancestors footsteps down the steps from the great hall, was very meaningful. The World Trade Center tour was even better, as he relayed his own experiences, having worked at the World Trade Center during 9/11. His perspective was very helpful for their part especially, as it was first hand, witness information.

our guide Mike was incredible. Literally sat in pouring rain on wet ground to take pictures of us in front of statue. Informative and took good care of us.

Better get Sal. Not the shady attorney, but the native New Yorker tour guide with a love for history that is infectious. Your day starts out at Battery Park, where you meet with your tour guide, collect the hearing devices in which your tour guide communicates with you, and get an idea of how the day is going to go. The trip to Liberty/Ellis Island can be done without the tour guide, you you would miss so much. If I hadn't known the dented gold globe planted next to Clinton Castle was originally next to the World Trade Center buildings, I would have just walked by without a clue. Sal made sure to keep us updated on points of interest, where to stand to get the best pictures, how the multiple security checks to get to Liberty Island was going to work, where to be to get through the lines quickly, etc... and he's a pretty funny guy to top it all off. Well worth the money.

I was with a group of four on this tour. We were all really pleased with our tour guide Mike. He gave us so much information and made it very interesting. He showed us things we would not have found out on our own. He has a great personality. We could tell he really loved his job. We would recommend anyone to use him. When go back to New York, we will definitely be asking for him. Thank you so much Mike!

One of the best tours I have ever been on, anywhere! Sal, our tour guide, was incredible. Very funny and so knowledgable about the history and New York generally. He was also able to convey the very sad and serious side of 9/11. Be prepared to walk, but you will learn a lot and love it!

Awesome tour, our tour guide Sal was very informative, patient and even had great suggestions for other things to do and places to eat. Audio equipment is a must, especially in a city like NY. Set aside a least 2hours to see the inside of the 911 Memorial. Be prepared because it can get very emotional so take breaks inside, but a wonderful tribute to those who gave so much.
