The Lion King musical tells the Hamlet-like tale of Simba, prince of African lions, who battles his evil Uncle Scar for the throne. But before Simba can take his rightful place in the "Circle of Life", he grows up with his two fun-loving friends, wisecracking meerkat Timon and smelly warthog Pumbaa. Together they teach Simba their philosophy of life, "Hakuna Matata" (No Worries). Based on the 1994 Disney film, and book by Roger Allers and Irene Mecchi, the musical includes the Oscar-winning song "Can You Feel the Love Tonight." Additional songs are by Hans Zimmer, Lebo M, Mark Mancina and Jay Rifkin. This visual feast is famous for director Julie Taymor's complex animal-puppet-human fusion, and is loved by audiences of all ages.

    Having arrived late because of flight cancellation & then a delayed flight, I was amazed at how pleasant & understanding the staff were. They let me in 20 minutes into the production - which was a huge relief. The show was absolutely amazing. A definite ‘must see’.

    The cast is amazing! Their acting is superb, experience of a lifetime. The music sounds great, acoustic in the theater is good, musicians play their hearts out, perfect timing in every note, characters are right on point on their acting, tone of voice, singing is impressive.

    The opening number brought me to tears! I couldn't take my eyes away from the talent, the propts, the dancers, the lighting! The orchestra was fantastic!     My most memorable moment of The Lion King was the entrance of the animals. It was breathtaking. The stage props, customers, and actors were such a marvel to gaze upon & experience. The entire production was such a treat and this could have not been a better play to experience my first broadway show!

    The first time I have booked through viator, but will definitely use again. Booked over the phone as the web page didn't work, the guy I spoke with was very helpful, explaining exactly how the system worked and where I would collect the tickets from. Price was the best I found on the internet as there was no booking fee. All went smoothly, thoroughly enjoyed The Lion King, and had excellent seats.

    Wow! This is the best musical for families. My 11 and 7 year old boys enjoyed every minute and were thrilled with the costumes, the music and the performances. We got seats on the last rows of the orchestra section but the views were really good.
