To Kill a Mockingbird on Broadway

This was an amazing performance! The set changes were seamless & the actors were phenomenal! This was always my favorite book & movie. Now it is my favorite broadway show! I'm sad that the lights will go dark for a bit, but when you have the chance to see this, DO IT!!!!

Had recently read the book again in preparation for our NYC trip and the opportunity to see the Broadway play based on the book. The entire cast gave incredible performances and were very audience friendly. My kids, ( 19, 15 & 10 ) were with me and at the end of the show, they each spoke of how great the show was and how much they enjoyed it. They had previously placed “Phantom Of The Opera” at the top of their list, but quickly replaced it with “To Kill A Mockingbird” at the top. Ed Harris did a great job, but for each of us, the character “Scout” was our overall favorite. The audience definitely responded strongest toward Ed Harris (Atticus Finch) and the actress playing “Scout”. However, another character that received a lot of audience response was the actor playing the Judge in the play. He was funny and quite a character. Absolutely a great performance and we as a family happily recommend it to all!
