Excellent experience! We had booked a night time view but the weather was awful raining hard, but we were able to change our ticket to the next day when the weather was better. Staff very accomodating, and experience was fantastic, great views over the city, well wort a visit.
Our vouchers were easy to exchange for entrance tickets and we were sent straight to the top without having to wait in any long lines. I would suggest to go early in the morning. We took our time and the views from all three platforms were spectacular! I know people like the ESBuilding, but here you get to see the Empire State building and the rest of the historic skyline. The view of Central Park was great for my kids to see the size!
we chose to go to the top at 9 am: beautiful views. no problem of admission
We went at 8am - perfect time as there are less tourists and gives you plenty of time to soak up the view. Highly recommended.
I enjoyed the views very much. The service persons were considerate. I was very lucky to be on the the top on the evening of the biggest moon. The moon made the front page the next morning!
Out of the Empire State and The Rockefeller for the best pictures go up the Rockefeller. The views of the Empire State are amazing, you also get brilliant views of Central Park. Time your trip to get picture in daylight and then of the sunset.
A must, but pick your time of day carefully as some times are busy. Highy recommend either a day or night visit, best to do both
New York City as night is absolutely amazing. The view from the top is breathtaking, make sure you take advantage of the 2 additional levels above the Observation Deck as they were less crowded than the lower main deck. This is a must see for anyone planning a trip to NYC.
Amazing, unrivalled views across New York! An absolute must when visiting New York
I would dare say that the Top of the Rock is way way better than doing Empire State. There's more room, you've got plenty of time to do pictures, and there's three levels to visit!
Best view of NYC and if you want to change your booked day or time they are happy to help.
Best place to view New York - great views of both sides of Manhattan.
Really well organised allowing you to select your time rather than stand in an enormous queue.
A really good experience with fabulous views, and due to the clear glass screens at the top you got the views outside without the wind effect. So it was really pleasant in the sun. No 'big drop' effect either for us as we aren't very good with height. if you are from the UK you will be getting up early anyway so we had no queues at all. And although you nominally chose a day to visit, you don't have to stick with it, very handy
We had an open ticket for this trip and so glad that we had. We wanted to go and watch the sunset from the top as we were doing the Empire State the following day in the early morning. However, it was cloudy so we decided to postpone and go up in the evening, good call. Seeing Manhattan light up at night gave us a different perspective from the view from the Empire State that we did in the daylight.
Fantastic tour and a great way to learn the history of Rockefeller Center along with seeing NYC from the top of the Rock.
