Although really looking forward to this tour I was a little concerned with the 15hr duration. I didn't need to be as the day went quite quickly and very smoothly. The bus trip was fine and we had a nice little stop for food around half way. Our guide was a lovely lady who was very entertaining. We had the perfect weather although in Winter and Washington did not disappoint. Arlington cemetery was very moving and it was great to see the White House etc. We went to the Indian museum which was OK but the food was terrible so try and avoid eating here. The space museum was very interesting and worth a visit. Entry was free which was very nice. If you intend to stay in New York this tour is a must as you have Times Square etc. then the luxury of seeing the capital.

Enjoyed the tour and saw the sights of Washington- Laura was an excellent guide and very helpful. Was rather nervous about being late and missing the bus ! But no-one was late as we were reminded at every stop but timing given was clear and the trip well organised. George the driver did a great job considering the drive back was torrential rain.
You can charge your phone on the coach but need an American adapter to plug in. WiFi was available on the coach also.

very punctual and well organized. The departing point in NYC was central 46th St which was easy to find instead of Chinatown
The tour touched the points that I really wanted to see.

Such an amazing day! Book it you wont regret it! Sadly I have forgotten the lovely lady's name but she was an Italian lady who spoke very good English and Spanish. This was our highlight to New York and highly recommend it. You get so much out of the day and get to visit all of the main highlights of Washington in a very relaxed way. It was the day before we left to return to the UK and as we were approaching NY from New Jersery she told us to get our cameras ready to capture the amazing skyline of New York and as we did she played Frank Sinatras New York, New York song. So thoughtful and I will remember that moment for the rest of my life. Also on the last leg of our journey she put on Night of the Museum in the coach which just made the time fly by. Really do book this and hopefully you'll be lucky enough to get the same lady as us!

The bus ride was 4 hrs long each way. However, if you would like to see DC's key sites this is the tour for you. Our guide kept the banter flowing and we enjoyed his commentary. Definitely a day well spent!

A long bus ride but very comfortable. my favourite part was visiting Arlington Cemetery , extremely moving experience. Greta to be able to see the White House. The choice of eatery on the way was the only disappointment, the food was really ordinary, very little choice typical roadside take awy.

Our tour guide Laura and driver Al were both excellent. The tour itself was very well planned. There was a comfort stop halfway to Washington and also on the return journey. Couldn't believe how much we saw in Washington in a short time. This tour is great value, highly recommended. The

Very well arranged tour

Skilled driver and sympathic Tour Guide Jorge

Jorge must have been on something good, because he never got tired sharing his great knowledge about everything we saw and every state we passed. Also he introduced us to the American way of democracy with the house of repr./congress and so on. Very interesting.

My wife and were very well entertained. Good Job :-

Amazing how much you can see in the approx. 5 hours in Washington - even had time for Magnets :-

Thank you from Denmark

This was a very good, if a bit 'busy' day! Tour started at 6.30 in the morning in Time Square, a short-ish walk from our hotel, and then a comfortable 4 hour, air conditioned, bus ride to Washington. this included a stop for refreshments, and loo break, half way there.
On arrival, we started with a visit to Arlington Cemetery, seeing the graves of the Kennedys, and the many lines of Military headstones, the Lincoln Memorial, the Iwo Jima Memorial, the Korean War memorial, and the Vietnam memorial, in 'blowtorch' heat, approx. 37 degrees!
From there to the Whitehouse, and other areas of the city, before a visit to the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum for lunch, with its excellent facilities, for approx 1 1/4 hours.
Then returning back to New York about 9.15pm.
Credit must be given to Jorge', our tour guide, who, super efficiently guided an eclectic mix of nationalities around the city all day, like herding cats!, whilst giving us the benefit of his encyclopaedic knowledge. A pleasure to be with.
All in all, recommended

Jorge was an amazing guide!! He entertained us during the trip to and from DC, while also teaching us a lot about US history. He had a contagious happiness throughout the tour!! We saw all the major monuments in DC and he gave us enough time to enjoy the sights and take pictures

This was an amazing day!! It was a very very long day and very rushed to fit everything in but was well worth the effort. The Arlington Cemetery was high on my priority list and I wished we could have spent more time there. I would definitely recommend this tour. We saw so much and the tour guide really knew her history! Her knowledge of all the places we visited was amazing. My only complaint was the continual warnings of being left behind if we were late for our meeting times!!

Highly recommended tour!!

Tour is good but when boarding the bus and you are disable make sure you ask for front seats...sign is there but very small. We did not see it and when we did I told the tour guide...even he was taking 2 disabled seats. Tour company should look into this because it sure is an offense when a normal person is taking disabled seats and the disable has to seat way back.
