  • Visit Arlington Cemetery and the National Air and Space Museum

Why Travelers Choose This Tour

See nearly all of DC's key attractions and spend time at the Air and Space Museum—a rare combo.
This day trip to Washington DC from New York begins with a drive south through the East Coast states of Delaware, New Jersey, and Maryland before arriving in the US capital.

When you arrive, start your DC sightseeing tour at Arlington Cemetery where you're free to visit JFK's gravesite. Then, take a drive through the city center to admire landmarks such as the domed Capitol building and White House before visiting the National Air and Space Museum, part of the Smithsonian Institute. Finally, enjoy photo ops at some of DC’s most famous attractions near the National Mall—the Lincoln Memorial, Vietnam Veterans Memorial, and Korean War Veterans Memorial. Finally, begin the trip back to NYC, where your tour ends.

Please Note: This tour is scheduled to stop in front of the White House and the Capitol building for commentary and photo ops. However, please be aware that occasionally this is not possible due to security issues in Washington. If this occurs during your tour, the itinerary will be adjusted accordingly.

Fantastic trip right from the word go, bang on time, really nice coach. Well organised, Jonathon the tour guide was exceptional and very hard working. The weather made it even more enjoyable sat in Washington having an ice cream. Really would recommend the trip you get to see all the sites shame the water was switched if at the Lincoln memorial (or Forest Gump memorial if you watched the movie.

Z was our tour guide and really made the day informative and enjoyable. One member of the group was slightly disruptive and argumentative but Z was very professional in dealing with him. The trip itself was a really good day out, back in Times Square around 830pm and we felt like we had seen all the highlights of DC. Thoroughly recommend.

We were not told we needed our passports to enter Arlington Cemetery which meant we had to wait 45 minutes on the bus. The bus broke down 40 minutes from New York, a new bus was immediately sent to pick us up. Apart from the two issues the trip was excellent. The tour guide was informative and friendly.

Should have provided a dedicated guide speaking English rather than try to share one guide between two languages.

The escort did nonuse a microphone because the people in the back but I also paid for my ticket. Everything is rushing, not even time to eat and enjoy the food. They took us to a museum that you visit in more than 45 minutes that was they give for eat in a 25 minutes waiting line and visit The museum. Make us walk under this heavy rain at the memorial cementery and 20 minutes to go to the bathroom and see if we could some food to eat in the bus. Sooooo desapointed.

Dear traveler, We are very sorry that our trip to Washington didn't meet your expectations. Unfortunately weather conditions are beyond us but we always try our best to avoid walk in the rain and snow. The tour is designed to show you the most interesting sights in a limited amount of time. Each and every group has the same time schedule and all buses have GPS trackers so we can monitor time spent at each and every location, this is done on a daily basis. Museum stop is always over an hour. Thank you for your feedback, will definitely investigate your claims. Hopefully will have a chance to see you again! Amadeo Team

The Big Day Out!

It is a big day, lots to see so an early start and late finish. For hubby and I this was the perfect 'whistle stop' tour of all the important and historic places that DC has to offer. Our guide had amazing knowledge as she conversed in both English and German. Just the right amount of information. Pick up and drop off was easy and there were stops for refreshments. Highly recommend.
