What You Can Expect

Niagara Falls Boat Tour: Voyage to the Falls

Feel the mist from Niagara Falls on the Voyage to the Falls boat tour.

Climb on board a state-of-the-art, 700-passenger catamaran cruise ship to begin a Voyage to the Falls like no other. There are two tiers on the ship — an upper and lower deck — plus an enclosed area that’s covered by glass, safe from the elements.

Pick a spot and get ready for the fun to begin.

The ship will drift into the Niagara Gorge before cruising past the American and Bridal Veil Falls. Get the poncho ready because it’s now evident things are going to get really wet for those on the ship’s outer decks — the edge of the Canadian Horseshoe Falls. Feel the cool spray and the powerful sounds of the water. This is the experience of a lifetime.

Voyage to the Falls is only a half-hour tour, but drinks and snacks are available inside the enclosed part of the ship for those who are interested. Additionally, there’s a souvenir shop at the landing area, with waterproof accessories to buy beforehand, or keepsakes to purchase afterward.

Please note: The Voyage to the Falls boat tour replaces the Maid of the Mist tour, which is now headquartered on the American side of Niagara Falls.

A fantastic experience, and although the queue was quite long we didn't have long to wait. A must for everyone visiting Niagara Falls. We were however disappointed with the area called Clifton Hill it was very cheap and tacky so beware.

It was cloudy, cold and windy but I still enjoyed my experience of getting up close with the Niagara Falls. I would recommend this tour to everyone as it offers a unique perspective of the power and magnificence of the Falls.

It was everything we expected and more. You really have to see it for yourself to enjoy the grandeur of the Falls. The boat trip up to the falls was exciting.

What an awesome experience. I was told that it was better to see it from the Canadian side and I can now see why. We are so glad that we had the opportunity to experience this tour as it was on our bucket list and it is a must do while in that area. Thank you for the memories. Mahalo

It-s really amazing to be so close to so much water, in the middle of the ist, hearing the roar of the water falling down. You have to see to believe it.
