What You Can Expect

Niagara Falls Canadian Side Tour and Maid of the Mist Boat Ride

Niagara Falls Canadian Side Tour and Maid of the Mist Boat Ride

Want to get to know Niagara Falls, Canada? This is the tour with the most iconic, must-do experiences. Let’s get started.

After a hotel pickup, start with an exciting ride up to the observation deck at the top of the majestic Skylon Tower. Enjoy the incredible view of the Niagara River and all three waterfalls — the American, Bridal Veil and Horseshoe Falls from 520 feet in the air.

Next, get ready for the experience of a lifetime on the Maid of the Mist cruise. This is as good as it gets, the best way to experience one of the world’s most amazing natural wonders. The cruise runs from early May to late October.

During the rest of the year, experience the Journey Behind the Falls excursion, where the sound is like thunder and the view is breathtaking. Stand in the mist and feel the rush where the Horseshoe Falls rumble from 13 storeys above — dropping over 700,000 gallons of water every second at 40 miles per hour. Now that’s powerful.

Other highlights include Table Rock Centre, a retail and observation complex located at the brink of the Canadian Horseshoe Falls; Queen Victoria Park, the main parkland in Niagara Falls, opposite the Canadian Horseshoe and American Falls (with Sir Harry Oakes Gardens); the Upper Canadian Rapids from Third Sister Island, the Lower Niagara River and Gorge, and Whirlpool State Park, overlooking the Niagara Whirlpool with spectacular views of the swirling waters of the rapids, the whirlpool itself and the Niagara River.

Please note: The Maid of the Mist portion of this tour departs from the U.S. side of Niagara Falls. All customers booking this tour must have appropriate documentation to enter the United States and Canada.

Our guide Ed did a great job - not helped at all though by delays caused by the USA Customs and some of the tour party constantly failing to get back to the bus at the times given.
Maid of the Mist experience was tremendous !

This tour started late due to traffic on the border bridge. In spite of that, the trip was well worth it. Guide was excellent and shared a lot of information with us. We saw many things on the tour, but we were a little disappointed it didn't include going behind the falls. We thought that was included. It was still a worthwhile tour and guide was top rate,

It was a 5-6 hour trip, starting at the American falls and ending at the Canadian falls. Not only was our guide well-versed in the history of the area, he was also able to put into context the various sights and sites. For someone who wants to know about this area, there isn't a better ways to spend a day of vacation. Thank you!
