What You Can Expect

Niagara Falls IMAX Movie

Dare Devil Exhibit

Walk inside the Niagara IMAX Theatre, located in the heart of the Niagara Falls tourist and entertainment district, for an entertainment experience unlike any other. Being here is as good as being there, inside the movie, with a screen that’s over six stories high and 12,000 watts of earth-shaking digital surround sound power.

The featured film here is “Niagara: Miracles, Myth & Magic,” a 40-minute journey over, around and through Niagara Falls, including details of the the 12,000-year-old history of the falls, including those daredevils and their stunts, the myths and cultures of the native people of this area — the wilderness, the explorers, the warriors in battle, and much more.

An optional upgrade includes admission to the Niagara Daredevil Exhibit. There is nothing behind ropes here, where it’s easy to touch the barrels of the 16 different daredevils who went over the falls. This is the one and only collection of original daredevil barrels.

Another optional upgrade includes a visit to the majestic Skylon Tower, an historic landmark observation tower that overlooks both the Horseshoe and American Falls from high above — 520 feet above street level, to be exact. Enjoy the incredible view from the top.

Always a great source of information, we try to take in an iMax Movie wherever we go. This was no exception! Easy parking, no lines, great movie. I wouldn't recommend the Daredevil's exhibit if you were shot on time or money though. Not much to see and it is covered in the Falla movie.

This was bad that it became good again. My husband and I laughed hysterically at how incredibly stupid this movie was. I thought I was purchasing the IMAX experience where they simulate going over the falls with seats that move and faux wind/mist. This was something totally different.

This is the way to see the Falls after you have been there. Entertaining, and breathtaking photography. Make sure to buy a copy of the movie in the Gift Shop.

Movie was great, but the museum alone would receive 2.5 stars.

It was well worth the money. Please explain to people how to get into the daredevil museum after the imax movie. We were misled and had to ask a lot.Otherwise good pick!
