What You Can Expect

Cannes and Antibes Small Group Half Day Trip from Nice

Explore the town of Cannes on your half-day tour from Nice

Meet your guide at your Nice hotel and climb into a comfortable minivan for your afternoon tour. Travel roughly 45 minutes to Cannes, one of the most glamorous towns in the South of France.

Spend time in this beautiful seaside city basking in the Mediterranean sun. Walk along the fabled Croisette Boulevard to the Film Festival Palace, where you can see the hand prints of countless film stars even if the festival itself isn’t happening while you’re there. Explore the pretty streets lined with shops, or dip a toe in the water while you meander along the beach.

Continue your tour with a visit to Juan-les-Pins and Golfe-Jean, where Napoleon landed in 1815. Mix with the stylish locals in the cafés and shops. Soak in the views from La Garoupe and spot celebrity homes on gorgeous Cap d’Antibes en route to the town of Antibes.

Spend your free time in Antibes walking through the picturesque Old Town at your own pace. Stroll through narrow lanes to browse in boutiques, or head for the Picasso Museum (own expense, closed on Mondays) for a little culture. Head for Billionaire’s Quay near the 15th-century Fort Vauban to see nearly-priceless yachts moored just offshore.

At the conclusion of your free time in Antibes, climb back into your minivan for the drive back to your hotel in Nice.

Great comfortable vehicle with clear views. Our pilot for the day was Eva......very enthusiastic, well turned out, spoke great english, drove well and gave us plenty of breaks.....a very professional experience and highly recommended. So good in fact that while i was on this trip i signed up for the monaco and eze trip which Eva sorted out for me. Turns out when i went on the monaco trip Eva was in the driving seat again and her enthusiasm had not diminished. another great way to see the country

Our tour guide Eva was awesome. She spent every minute when we were driving in the car to and from a place speaking to us about the history and culture and thought us so much! There was never a dull moment! Antibes and Cannes were incredible to visit. She offered us some great suggestions on how to spend our free time while in the cities. I definitely recommend this!

This was an absolutely wonderful trip. Our guide, Matilde, was just fabulous, brimming with knowledge and engaging and a good driver! A boon to the experience was that we were the ONLY ones on the tour. Both Cannes and Antibes were both charming in different ways and this was a sampler tour of both. The point of us taking this tour was to get a taste of each so we'd know where we'd perhaps want to spend more time in the future and Antibes the Old Town won out for us unless the Film Festival is going on, of course. The only thing that I would suggest would be to add on a wine or cheese tasting to the tour capping it. Merci beaucoup to Matilde for a smashing time!

Caroline was our guide. This was the second time she had been our guide on a tour on our stay in Nice. We ended up on this tour being the only two participants so Caroline adjusted the planned schedule to meet our specific requests. She had also done this on a prior tour which was full to meet the needs/requests of those guests as well. She is a true professional, able to remain flexible with a diverse group and has great insights to share regarding the area. Caroline is able to give great guidance on how to best spend the time available in each location. We spent the most of our time this day in Antibes, at our request, as we had previously been to Cannes. It is a charming small village, delightful for strolling the old town streets. Picasso Museum is a must from our standpoint. The building and its location overlooking the bay is breathtaking. Antibes is very different from other of the seaside towns along the coast, with a wonderful market in the heart of old town. Fort Vauban at the port there is worth seeing as well and Caroline was able to give us some excellent history on the significance of this fort. Fascinating! She provided great insight on Cagnes Sur Mer, the town next to Nice that we drove through along the coast on our drive to Antibes. It was close to the end of our holiday in Nice when we made this trip and Caroline made this day very special for us. Merci!

Tour was great and ample amount of time in Antibes. Cannes was crowded as it was the premiere of the film festival. I am certain that at other times it us much better.

We took this tour on the last afternoon of our 2 week stay in France. It was a way to see some more of this area in a limited time frame. We ended up being the only two people on the trip, but our wonderful guide did not let that stop her from giving us the best tour ever. She was gracious and knowledgeable. She knew what we wanted to see and was very clear about where to meet her for pick ups. She let us decide what we wanted to do and see. It was a great way to end our time in France. It is a great trip for those that want to have a quick trip to see other parts of the Cote d'Azur. We had a great time!
