What To Expect

After meeting your guide at the designated location in Noosa Heads or Noosaville, settle into your comfortable 4-wheel drive vehicle for the scenic drive to Teewah Beach via the Noosa North Shore ferry.

When your vehicle disembarks from the ferry, prepare for a thrilling ride along Great Beach Drive. Take in views of the coast and the colorful sandstone cliffs along the way.

Arrive at the pristine paradise of Double Island Point, a gorgeous headland with a variety of marine life. There, your guide provides kayaking equipment and instruction before you set out on a guided kayak tour. Keep an eye out for bottlenose dolphins, migrating whales (seasonal), turtles, rays, migrating birds, and soldier crabs. From the water, you also get a great perspective on Double Island Point Lighthouse.

Relax on the return trip along Great Beach Drive to Noosa.

Dolphins up close!

Wasn’t necessarily expecting to see dolphins during the tour, but prior to heading back to in, we saw several poke their heads out of the water & swim right under our kayak! Even saw a baby dolphin pop it’s head up to say hello. Incredible.

This trip would be excellent in wind and rain free conditions. We had both of these weather conditions on our trip kayaking was difficult and animals non existent. The trip 50 k up the beach and the Honeymoon Bay precincts were worth the trip for those who are unfamiliar with these environments The organisation was excellent and the driver guide leader very knowledgeable and capable.

The drive up to Honeymoon bay/Double Island was lovely & Vince one of the guides made the trip enjoyable sharing his knowledge on the native flora & fauna. Tyron was an excellent instructor out in the ocean where we were able to kayak up really close with the local bottlenose dolphins. The whole crew were so funny & more than helpful. Honeymoon bay is absolutely stunning. So glad we sis this. Thanks guys it r eallt was an epic ocean adventure.

Exceeded our expectations. A week later and the teenagers are still talking about it. So wonderful to get them off their phones and devices and see a smile planted across their faces enjoying the outdoors. Tyron really looked after us all to ensure the best experience. We saw massive turtles and a mother dolphin with her baby. At the end we were guided on how to safely kayak the longest wave back to shore!! What a beautiful part of the world. We’ll be back for more tours with Epic. Highly recommend

Surfing dolphins

Saw the largest pod of dolphins ever. A big portion of the pod was “body surfing” in the waves. What a sight! You only get to see something like this when you’ve kayaked out to them.

We had an excellent day! Our guides were the perfect combination of knowledgeable, entertaining and alert. Our beach ride was punctuated with views of whales spouting and leaping, plus there was a bonus show of a couple of gulls stealing fish from an osprey. The kayaking was amazing with dolphins nearby and turtles and manta rays on view. Highly recommend it!
