You'll be picked up from your centrally located Noosa hotel to board the wilderness cruise through the Noosa River Everglades.
Visit Fig Tree Point for a morning tea in the bush surrounds before beginning your slow cruise through the Noosa Everglades. The Everglades is often called the River of Mirrors - tranquil and unspoiled waterways which you will cruise through whilst enjoying skipper’s informative live commentary and photographing the wonderful scenery.
After your cruise, barbecue lunch is catered for at Harry's Hut picnic site with a superb selection of meat, fish, sausages, fresh salads and freshly baked bread.
Absolutely fantastic! I had a brilliant day and our tour guide Heinie was fantastic!! Sadly we didn't get many good reflections in the everglades as it was windy but still a great day.
Super trip, great tour guide and fantastic lunch, would totally recommend this cruise to anyone else - we had a brilliant day!
Amazing day! Guides were brilliant would defo recommend.
We had a nice trip. Our guide Andy was very professional and knew a lot about local wildlife. Recommend it!
This is the most serene trip one could ever take. The sights from the boat, the lovely luscious vegetation along the river was an amazing sight. The guide full of funny interesting stories. Worth every cent!
It was a great value days excursion with Andy the skipper who kept everyone entertained with good humour and considerable wildlife knowledge. The BBQ lunch at Harrys Hut prior to the journey back to Noosa was spot on. Very nice indeed. Being an amateur photographer I was kept busy with the camera capturing the abundant wildlife and beautiful reflections on the still waters we were passing through.
A most enjoyable day out. Picked up at the bus stop and taken to the starting point. All well organised. Enjoyed the boat trip, morning tea and later a bbq lunch. If you wanted, you could use the canoes to do part of the trip. Just a very pleasant day out.
Awesome experience and a 'must do' !!
It was a pity we had to wait for some participants who were half an hour late :- , but maybe that was due to the earthquake we felt early that morning.
The sad result however was that we had to cut our afternoon tea stay at Harry's hut short ...
Luckily we had an amazing Captain/Tour guide who told us a lot of interesting, surprising, funny facts about the Glades. It was Obvious that he loves the Glades and his job.
We sincerely hope to get the chance to come back one day, so we can go for the BBQ Cruise as we missed out on that one.
The afternoon cruise however, can also be recommended !!
We certainly will try to upload some of the awesome pics we were able to make.
Hopefully 'till a next time'. Jennifer and Els Belgium
