We had Derick as our guide he made it a 5 star day. I say take it even if not a big GOT fan, my SO is not a huge fan and had a great day. Our guide Derick, was wonderful, (I think he took a bite out of the Blarney Stone), lots of information, jokes and general fun. If your are a fan, myself, its great to see where the "magic" happened. Bonus with the Giants Causeway. You will not regret taking this tour.

Let's just start off by there is NO BATHROOM on the bus. I read a review that said there was one, they lied, there is not. This is a trip with some beautiful sights to see but you only get about 5 minutes to see them. Most spots we had 15 minutes at the spot but it was a 5 minute walk there from where the bus dropped you off, and we were advised that the bus would not wait for anyone which it did not. People were left behind, which is their own fault. There is a lot of running/ fast walking because of such a short time so make sure you ready and prepared for that because me and my husband certainly were not. We expected a lot of walking but not at that level. Peter was our driver and don't get me wrong he was a nice guy with a few good jokes, but did not even watch Game of Thrones, he just knew the bare minimum of what he needed to know which kind of sucked because we were hoping for some trivia or some excitement about each location which we did not get. As for lunch, you are given a menu for the pub you will stop at about an hour or so before you get there and you tell the driver what you want. Numbered items 1-5 or something. Once you arrive we were told we had 35 minutes until we had to be back on the bus. We did not receive our food until 15 MINUTES before we had to be back on the bus, so we vacuumed up our food and burnt our mouths rushing to fill our bellies and pay for the food within 15 minutes. Immediately afterword you stop at a spot which requires about a 15 ish minute walk down a giant swirly small road, right after you eat. Most people sat that one out because their stomach hurt so bad. The views on this tour are absolutely amazing but please beware of the physical exertion and burnt mouth you will face. You only get a small amount of time at each location and i wish we had a more enthusiastic tour guide.

Derek, our guide was awesome. The day was beautiful and sunny, the sites were stunning. I was traveling alone, but met some wonderful people as well. Great experience. The only slightly disappointing thing was my lunch, the chicken Gordons? Strips, were not great and the fries were undercooked. However, my companions that made other choices, enjoyed them very much!

You know by the title and the locations, the scenery and views will be spectacular. And they don't disappoint. If you take this tour for no other reason, go see the views.

That being said, our tour guide helped bring the value up a notch or two. The information about the backgrounds and sites used for the filming of the series was informative and sometimes he referenced a scene or episode so you could tie it back to the series. BUT throughout the trip, he also helped inform us about local life in Northern Ireland, history distant and near, area folk tales and lore, relationship with nearby neighbors Scotland and England, and helped make sure we all had a fun experience. Quite a sense of humor to boot.

We had a great time, both in the bus as on the sights.
And the guide/bus driver, Derrick, who was almost a copy of the stand up comedian Rhod Gilbert, was very funny and made jokes the hole journey, but don’t believe everything he says.
He was a true Got-fan no matter what he says.

This is a wonderful tour for Game of Thrones fans . Derek was an excellent guide providing great information and humor. In addition to all of the sites and information about the Game of
Thrones, the Giants Causeway was amazing as was the Carrick-a Rede rope bridge. The tour is quite long, lasting almost 9-10 hours, but includes a nice break for lunch at the Fullerton Arms. The caveats I have relate to the fact that this tour leaves from the Europa Hotel in Belfast which is not really convenient for where the shuttle bus from our cruise ship dropped us off in the city. It is also a very strenuous tour, especially for senior citizens. As a matter of fact, I would suggest that only the most hardy and well conditioned of tourists above age 65 consider taking this tour. At the last stop Carrick-a-Rede, the scariest part for me was the climb up the trail after crossing the rope bridge . Fortunately we had a large number of kind and concerned young people who did look out for me during the many substantial uphill climbs
