Braga and Guimarães Full Day Private Tour from Porto

Our driver Pedro was very polite and always Went out of the way to accommodate our needs. Tour was good, we got plenty of time at each location. I would highly recommend this private tour.

Although the weather was rainy, we enjoyed this tour as much as anything we did while we were visiting Portugal. Our driver and guide Paulo made this trip special. Not only did his driving skills put us at ease for the trip, his extensive knowledge of Portuguese History and Culture were fascinating. A consummate professional, Paulo allowed us to tour at our own pace and used a perfect balance of conversation and quiet reflection to allow us to enjoy the sights. Paulo was polite, professional, knowledgeable and friendly. We left feeling like we had made a new and dear friend. When we travel we like to use private tours when available and Paulo made this one special.

Nice historical locations but the guide was not a guide but just a driver. He did not know anything and told us right away.
Maybe because the tour was on Sunday
but then they should find some providers
who supply real guides on Sundays.

Great tour

We have mostly had very good if not exceptional experiences with Viator Tours and their guides. This was another experience that was beyond that, to the outstanding category. Our guide Jose was the perfect host. Not only did we see and do all we wanted at both of these locations but his friendliness gave us a over reaching feeling of Portugal and its people. We were supposed to get back to our hotel at 5:00 but did not return till almost 8:00 because Jose just kept coming up with more things to do. He was funny, knowledgeable, entertaining entertaining. He left us with a hand drawn map of Porto of things he thought we might enjoy now that he knew us a little. A wonderful full day experience.

Very good day-long tour to some beautiful churches most notably Braga Cathedral, the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Sameiro, and Bom Jesus and breathtaking view points. Our guide was great to us--thanks Daniel!

We were picked up from the hotel on time, driver was very friendly,nice and flexible with our pace. It would be a good choice to go if you would enjoy your own paces and not keen about sharing with other people.
