What You Can Expect

Catamaran Sailing and Snorkel Adventure on Kaneohe Bay

These boats hold a maximum of 5 participants plus your guide, so every tour is very personalized

Following pickup in the morning at your hotel in Waikiki, travel to He'eia to meet your captain.

While still on dry land, listen to a short safety briefing and gather all the necessary equipment, including snorkeling gear and life jackets. Board your small catamaran, equipped with coolers and trampoline decks, and take off into Kaneohe Bay. You can make yourself comfortable on the trampolines and enjoy the ride or ask your captain if you'd like a sailing lesson. No experience is necessary.

Possibilities for the day's destination include Sunken City, the Sunken Island sand bar, Coconut Island or Turtle Canyon. Depending on the day's conditions and the group's interests, you can help your captain decide where sail. Since the tour is limited to five passengers, you are guaranteed personalized attention from your guide.

Regardless of where you end up, there are bound to be phenomenal snorkeling opportunities. Don your snorkeling gear and hop off the boat to see tropical fish, sea turtles, manta rays, spotted eagle rays and other marine life.

After a couple hours of exploring the bay, head back to the beach for a delicious barbecue lunch and subsequent drop-off at your Waikiki hotel.

THE BEST sailing experience ever!!! This is a sailing adventure not to be missed, whether you are an experienced sailor or not. Everything from pick up, sailing, BBQ, to drop off was excellent! Sailed all over Kaneohe Bay with guide Parker Johnson--experienced cat sailor, and full of interesting local info. Great way to see scores of turtles, and sea life. Zoe the driver, and all the staff are friendly, and totally customer service oriented. Can't say enough superlatives about this tour.

Best experience ever!!! Our guide, Parker, was super knowledgeable and took us to spots where we saw A LOT of turtles at least 50 of all sizes - I'm not exaggerating and even manta rays! We also got to snorkel with turtles next to the coral reef with no other tourists around, which was great I am now in love with turtles. The adventure was very personalized we got a sailing boat a tour guide for ourselves and geared towards us for example, we asked Parker to tell us about sailing since we were interested and he gave us insights throughout the trip. Even the food was awesome no sandwiches or chips, actual home-made local food : This tour completely exceeded my and my husband's expectations totally worth it! Also, they are a non-profit so it felt great contributing to their cause. The guys at Holokai Kayak and Snorkel Adventure were really great!
