Amy was outstanding. Really enjoyed the iPad segments of the actual show and then showing up in front of the place we just saw. Learned a lot about production. We saw several homes that they use on the show and even got to go inside Steve's house on the water. The owners were so nice. We took lots of photos in the back yard and inside the house. Saw Danny's house, his ex-wife's house, saw the beach where they film, and much, much more. I would give this 10 stars if they allowed. Definately worth the time and money. Picked up on time at the Hilton Hawaiian Village and returned there also. Drove by the studio's, hospital, cemetery and more. Would recommend this tour 110....
This was my favourite day of my time in Hawaii. Even if you only know a little about the series it was a fantastic way to see the island. Zoom was great and full of knowledge, it was awesome they played scenes on the iPad of each place we stopped at so you could link the two together. It was worth every cent and suitable for all ages. We were lucky enough to meet Brian Spicer the director as well.
If you are a fan of Hawaii Five-0 I highly recommend this tour. It's entertaining and informative, the sites are amazing. The operators/tour guides are exceptional. Well worth the money, you will not be disappointed! Touring and sitting in the back yard of the location of McGarrett's house was phenomenal. Definitely a highlight of our Hawaii vacation.
If you are a Five-0 fan then DO THIS TOUR!!! Seeing filming locations with my own eyes is something that I will never forget as well as finding out little secret gems that I never knew about the show before this tour. My only complaint is the condescending manner of the female tour guide of the two.
Great tour whether you are a fan or not. You see fantastic locations and learn not only about the show but local info as well.
As a diehard Five-0 fan, I felt it delivered a special treat. Amy and Zoom were excellent tour guides. We were taken to many different locations where Hawaii five-0 films. There was plenty of time to take pictures, and all of our questions were answered. It was an action packed 4 1/2 hours. We recommend this tour to anyone, who watches Five-0. All of our expectations were met.
Loved this tour. Our tour guide, Amy, was amazing. We got so much info about the show. Saw lots of Honolulu and places where Hawaii Five-O films. Would recommend this tour.
Very friendly tour guides and informative about he show and the sites visited.
Awesome tour! Very knowledgable guides with intimate knowledge of the show, cast and filming sites.
Also some spectacular areas of the island visited.
We had a great time on this tour. We learned a LOT of information about the show, the actors, the ohana among the family that is Hawaii Five-O. Well worth the time. We also were able to tour the McGarrett house and meet Duke. Those were definitely the highlights.

Amy was our guide, full of knowledge of the series and the cast. Knows them personally so that was even better. She would take us to where filming of an episode was done, put the IPad to show the scene and then we could remember and relate to that site. Very good tour if you are a fan. We loved it as we do the series. After the tour, we decided to go to a shopping centre to hear the shrimp guys cousin perform. Not only was he good, he was great taking photos with us. Then Gracie turns up accidentally, as Amy knew her, she came over to us, had photos taken with us, she was so sweet. Most of the filming had stopped a week before and therefore most of the cast were on holidays. We went outside everyone's house, and in Steve McGarrett's house, even though this is a private home, the lady was so sweet to let us in and take a look, take photos, was not a problem, invited us all again. Great tour, loved it, would do again if in Hawaii again and hopefully meet more of the cast....Thanks Amy.
We attended the Hawaii Five-0 tour a few weeks ago and it was so worth it. Zoom and Amy are so knowledgeable about the show answered all of our questions. We saw some amazing views and were able to get out and take pictures. We drove by all of the characters houses, which was pretty cool. And the piece de resistance was being able to go to McGarrett's house, walk the grounds and all through the house. My husband and I had were able to speak with the owners and they couldn't have been more delightful. If you are a fan of the show, and even if you aren't, you will love this tour. Not only was it a great tour for fans of the show, but it was a great tour of the island. My husband didn't necessarily watch the show, but he loved the tour. Great experience!!!
Fantastic tour. We even met up with the actor that plays police officer Duke on the show.
What an interesting way to view some of the sites in and around Honolulu. My brother doesn't watch the show and he and I were singing the Hawaii 5-0 song for days after this tour.
You don't have to be a Hawaii-50 series fanatic to enjoy this remarkable experience, but it helps.
I loved the original Jack Lord series, and know little about the new series apart from the fact that it has some great Aussie lead actors, but I must confess to leaving the tour with a hunger to watch the new detectives at work.
We took this tour as an opportunity to go to parts of the island that are off the beaten tourist track, and for that alone it was well worth while.
What these guys don't know about the minutia and detail of the 50 productions is not worth knowing.
And the bonus of the tour was the begged-for opportunity to purchase a couple of genuine production crew t-shirts literally of the back of the production truck.
My fellow reviewers have heartily endorser this tour, and I am delighted to share their enthusiasm...so don't miss out....Book it, Danno!
The trip was amazing. I am a Five-0 superfan and my husband was along with me on this tour. He has now become even more of the fan because of the tour. It was so entertaining and so informative. The tour gave us insight to the real personalities of the actors. Now when we watch the show we feel so connected to it. They showed us so many of the locations where the filming is actually done, even the official McGarrett household. The owners of the home are so lovely and came out to spend time with us and share some of their special Five-0 stories. We also drove by Chin's house, Kono's house, Grover's house and Danny's house as seen in episodes of the show. There was plenty of time to take pictures at the locations that we did stop at. I loved that before we would arrive at each location, they would play a video clip of a scene so that we better relate to each location and scene. They even provided background history on both the old and new versions of the show. I learned a lot while having a great deal of fun. We even had lunch at LaMariana at the end of the tour and for you regular fans I know you have seen the episodes in which this was filmed. The hosts of the tour are really great friendly people. Of course it would be spectacular if we would have had the opportunity to see some of the filming or even visit the actual studio where inside filming is done or to see some of the actual props/vehicles used in the show. Thanks for showing me a super great time.
Our tour guides were fantastic they had in depth knowledge of the series both new and old, and had some great stories to tell which made the tour extremely interesting I would defiantly recommend this tour to anyone who has watched the series
HIGHLIGHT OF MY VACATION! We even got to skype Cousin Flippa!! The family thay owns the Bayer Estate (McGarretts house) are some of the nicest most welcoming people I have ever met! And their dog is adoriable.
This tour was one of the highlights of our holiday. I am a longstanding fan of the show , following both the original and current series , and whilst my wife watches the show as 'a casual viewer' we both enjoyed it immensely.
The guides have a great knowledge of the show and use interactive video clips for each location to enhance the experience. They also have a wealth of knowledge about the original series and the links with the current series.
We especially enjoyed the visit to 'Diamond Head' , the 'Courthouse' , the 'McGarrett residence ' and residences of the other cast members . All of the houses are 'real' and not part of a studio set.
Try to ensure that your visit includes the McGarrett residence which is used occasionally for other events and may be excluded from the tour. However, the guides will advise you in advance if this is likely and will offer you alternative dates.
Special thanks to our guides who made the whole experience very memorable.
Ami our tour guide made the difference in the tour being fun and entertaining
We loved our Hawaii Five-0 Locations Tour! Amy, our tour guide, was very knowledgeable and drove us places we would never have found on our own. She used her I-pad to play scenes from the show for us, then we would see the actual location where it was filmed. How wonderful to visit the location and see how it was used in the show! If you love to watch the TV show, you should really try to take this tour!
Very nice. Tour guide was great....If you get motion sickness, I highly recommend you take lots of motion sickness medicine because you won't want to miss this.

Our tour guide Amy was super knowledgeable of all things and people of Hawaii 5-0. But I think she wanted us to be more fanatic than fans. If you asked more questions, then she would provide more info. Did love all the inside scoops that she did divulged. Would have loved it to be longer. Too short for the price. The gem of the tour was having the privilege of being invited into the McGarrett home. The owner and her family were super friendly, accommodating people. Loved the refreshing mango pops she treated us to! Got to sit on Steve's chair facing the beach! Kind of disappointment we didn't get our shaved ice!
This is a great tour for fans of the show, with Amy being very knowledgeable about all the places that we went to, and the views looking over Oahu are amazing and the visit to McGarretts house was a great finishing touch to the tour.
