Begin your tour with pickup either at your Waikiki hotel or a nearby location. Take seat on the double-decker bus and enjoy open-air views from the upper deck or the large viewing windows of the indoor lower level.
Your guide will bring you first to Pearl Harbor, providing informative commentary as you travel. Watch original film footage from the 1941 attack at the Visitor Center, and examine the exhibited artifacts. You’ll then glide across the harbor on the Navy launch to board the USS Arizona Memorial, accessible only by boat. The memorial straddles the sunken battleship and now marks the resting place of all the sailors and marines whose lives were lost that day.
Hop back on your bus to continue through the Punchbowl Crater to the National Cemetery of the Pacific, a historic place also commemorating those who died in the Pearl Harbor attack.
Then, enjoy a drive through vibrant downtown Honolulu. Pass the State Capitol, the Kawaiahao Church, the statue of King Kamehameha, the State Library and Archives, the Mission Houses Museum and Honolulu Hale. You’ll also pass the only royal residence in the country, Hawaii’s Iolani Palace.
After your 5-hour Honolulu tour has concluded, you will be returned to your original departure point.
