What You Can Expect

There are three different tour options to choose from: a 5-hour North Shore tour, a 5-hour South Shore tour, and an 9-hour Circle Island tour. No matter what tour you choose, hotel pickup from Waikiki is induced. The North Shore and South Shore tours offer a morning and an afternoon departure time, but the Circle Island tour is only available one time a day due to its longer length. Please note all tour options are heavily focused on locations from the TV show Lost, but each has different stops around Oahu.

The North Shore tour is five hours long, and circles the northern two-thirds of the island. Take a ride in a Hummer as you pass (and stop at a few) locations from movies, such as Karate Kid II, 50 First Dates, Paradise,Hawaiian Style, Tora! Tora! Tora!, Pearl Harbor, and Forgetting Sarah Marshall.

The South Shore tour is also five hours long, but circles the southern portion of the island. Your guide picks you up in a Hummer, as you go by filming sights seen in Blue Hawaii, In Harm's Way, 50 First Dates, Pirates of the Caribbean, and Jurassic World.

The 9-hour tour option is the Circle Island tour, which like its name suggests, circles the island of Ohau. In your Hummer, see the movie-filming locations from both the 5-hour tours, as well as those for Lost. Remember, all three tours are mostly focused on Lost

After your tour ends, enjoy a relaxing ride back to your Waikiki hotel with snacks and bottled water available.

It was amazing! Our tour guide Greg was his name? was awesome! Very kind, very informative, and knew his stuff about LOST! I thought I knew a lot, but his LOST trivia between stops was out of this world! Great, relaxing, enjoyable time all day! Thank you, KOS!

This was a GREAT and very LONG tour! We did the full day LOST Island Tour. Our day started around 7am and ended almost 12 hours later when we arrived back at our hotel around 6pm. This is truly a tour that is meant for LOST fans as we saw tons and tons of LOST filming locations. But even if you're not a LOST fan, I think you'd find this an enjoyable island tour. I've been to Oahu many times over the last 20 years and still got to see parts of it I had never seen before on this tour - it's just a great tour of all parts of the island. Seeing the LOST sites is sort of a bonus. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and thankfully had an iPad with still shots from the show to help remind you of scenes that were shot in certain places - this helped a lot since it had been a few years since my spouse and I had watched it again. Including us, there were 3 couples on our tour. Riding around in a Hummer was not as glamorous as I thought - climbing in and out was a bit of chore each time and a minivan probably would have been more comfortable, but we never spent too much time in the car between stops where we always got out and walked around so it wasn't too bad. The tour guide was very open when it came to lunch - none of us really wanted the place they usually go so he quickly adjusted to take us to a great place we all loved. The tour description mentions waters/snacks being provided, but we were never offered either - perhaps they were there and stuffed away in the back somewhere, but it would have been nice if they were offered to us... On the other hand, I appreciated that the tour guide wasn't rushing us back at the end of the day - our tour was over the official quitting time, but there were a couple of things to hit up on the way back and he didn't skip them - that was very cool!

Overall, I LOVED this tour. It isn't cheap, but it's ALL DAY so the to entertainment value is actually very good. We saw so many LOST filming sites. I took tons of pictures which no one but me really cares about! And actually, even I won't be going back and looking at them all that much - it really is the experience of being there and seeing all the sites in person that matters. If you're a LOST fan, then to me this is a must do! If you're not a LOST fan, but maybe you're spouse is and you're wondering if you would enjoy this, I would say that you would, just as a way to see the entire island of Oahu and see so many parts that most tourists never do. I only wish that I had the time in my schedule to rewatch the entire series before this vacation because it would have been great to have it all fresh in my mind. But having seen the series twice in my life, the still shots were enough to jar my memory most of the time. It definitely made me want to watch it again.
