  • ADA Accessible: Due to limited availability, we require that ADA vehicle reservations be made a minimum of 48 hours prior to date and time of service. Roberts will make all reasonable attempts to accommodate the needs of the disabled traveler.
  • For electric wheelchairs or scooters: The combined weight of the wheelchair and guest cannot exceed 500 lbs, the maximum width of the wheelchair cannot exceed 29 inches.
  • Not all stops on this tour are ADA accessible. Thurston Lava Tube is not ADA accessible
  • Wear a pair of comfortable walking shoes. A light sweater or jacket is recommended.
  • All One-Day Tours are subject to availability, change without notice, and include: Roundtrip transfers from Waikiki hotels and roundtrip airfare to the neighbor island. Airfare costs may fluctuate from day to day so it is important to check your emails frequently prior to confirmation as you will be asked to confirm any overage charges for airfare differences in order to confirm.
  • All guests birth dates, genders and full name spellings as printed in passports or government issued IDs are required at checkout. Failure to provide accurate information may result in cancellation of tour/activity without refund.
  • All guests must bring a valid ID for airport security check-in. International guests must bring a valid passport for airport security check-in.
  • Sugar-Free treats available for purchase at the Big Island Candies Factory.
  • Lunch available for purchase at the IMILOA Sky Garden Restaurant and is eaten at approximately 1:30pm.
  • Your safety and comfort are our #1 priority. Tour features can change daily as we cannot predict weather and lava viewing conditions. We do not guarantee sighting of lava flows. Surface lava flows may be present but may not be visible due to environmental conditions or time constraints. If conditions permit, walking/hiking on rough, uneven lava surfaces is involved.
  • Locations/Routes may be modified due to National Park and State Park advisories.
  • Children under 2 years of age are considered FREE if child is on lap and does not occupy a seat. You will still be required to provide the child's full name, gender and birth date for TSA purposes.

We were thrilled we hopped to another island in Hawaaiian airline and the tour guide cum driver was very knowledgeable and polite. Very informative tour, Kona coffee is a must buy and macadamia nuts. They come in different flavors. Negatives would be poor food options for lunch, long drives in between spots of interest. Exhausted at the end of day as you start early and return after almost 15 hours of tour.

Amazing! Not much more to add. Lincoln, our guide was superb and so knowledgeable about anything we asked. Clearly a very proud man of his Hawaii roots. Very comfortable bus with small group. Views we immense and timing of everywhere we went couldn't have been any better. Arrived at the volcano and had a fab view then 20 mins later the mist covered everything. Would definitely recommend anybody who does Hawaii must pay the extra and visit the Big Island to do this trip. Long day but well worth it.

Wish the description would have been more specific. Did 260 miles on a bus. Waited almost an hour from when we arrived in Hawaii to when our tour started. Was disappointed that we did not visit Kona Coffee which was to be part of the tour. Asked why and was told that we would have had to cut each stop by 10 minutes. Could have done without the Big Island Chocolate factory immediately after lunch. Did see the volcano and active lava. All in all it was an OK trip. Long but OK.

The tour was really great and gives you a good first overview. There is enough time for pictures and to experience the view. Since the tour is only a 1-day trip, there is unfortunately not enough time to explore places in detail and I was a bit disappointed that there is only a limited view on the volcano. The pick-up and organization was really organized and it was a pleasure to be on this trip. To sum up, if you are limited in time, I can only recommend this tour.

Left Oahu early and had a full day circling the big island. The flight is short and our guide was superb. You don't need to pack anything but a camera. The black sand beach was extra special with many sea turtles on the beach.

On the 21st of September my daughter Aleasha and i flew from Honolulu to Kona Airport where we were greeted by a elderly gentleman explaining that we had to wait for the bus which suited us fine toilet break : Once picked up we did the Big Island tour , where we were lucky enough to see some lava bubbling in the crater , walk thru a lava tube , see some turtles on the black sand and saw some amazing old trees with a waterfall, with stops along the way to eat and gift shops . Thru out it all Luke was an amazing guide and kept us entertained thru out the whole day with his storys and local knowledge , was sorry to have the day come to an end . If your ever over in Perth West Aust Luke look me up on facebook , i'll be the 1 with the cars on her profile pic and i'll take you for a cruise next time Tammy and Aleasha Whale Mahola
