    Great intro tour to Oahu

    This was a great tour to see more of Oahu than just Waikiki where we were staying. Our tour guide, Milo, was entertaining and gave us so much local history and lore, as well as pointers about where to eat, what beaches to visit, and where to shop. For the snorkeling, there were not many fish to see, but it was a great place to swim. The shrimp lunch was delicious, and just sitting back in the bus looking at Oahu's countryside while listening to Milo made for an excellent tour.
    False advertising/ Tourist Trap

    The tour guide was nice, however we paid for the trip to go snorkeling with turtles. Right before we go it's " oh by the way this time of year the surf is too rough on north shore, so we won't be seeing any turtles" I think they should not offer that this time of year if it is not possible. I felt like it was rather boring, and i would have rather rented a car and checked out the whole island instead. I feel like we went to the places listed for less time and went to places the tour guide wanted to go to instead that were not even listed. I wanted to go back to resort after first hour but was stuck on the bus.

    The places we stop were very little interest to most of us. A lot of stops were just places they have arrangements to sell. All the interesting points in North shore we didn’t even stop at any of the beaches there. They were late picking us up and was one hour early dropping us of. I guess that is why is only 88 dollars. Look for a better option

    Save your money. This was 100 percent a tourist trap tour. Every stop was a tourist shopping stop. Our guide had tons to say with a lot of interesting information. I’m sure the stops are not his choosing but the company. If you want to spend the day shopping and eating the food they choose for you (shrimp farm), then this is the tour for you. They canceled the only exciting, longest part of the tour, snorkeling because of rain. No lightning RAIN! We drove around the Mormon temple and college to “kill time” until lunch. Again I say not the tour guides fault. We were also told not to do the maze or take the train at Dole so again, shop and get back in the car. The coffee factory was also closed. It was just really a waste of the day. We also took “ Oahu Island Experience feat. North Shore” this was super personalized, we could ask questions, stop at local spots, if there was something we wanted to see or didn’t want to see we could talk with our guide. Highly recommend “ Oahu Island Experience feat. North Shore” not this shopping tour unless you want to spend the day shopping.

    Our driver/guide Johnny was very entertaining, interactive and knowledgeable. This trip is a great way to circumnavigate most of the island. I would definitely recommend this trip to anyone looking to tour the island. And, if you do, ask for Johnny.
    Swathes of green and blue ocean waters ! Couldn’t get better than this!
