What You Can Expect

Oahu Coach Tour Including Dole Plantation and Waimea Falls

The famed waimea falls, located at the end of your hiking trail in waimea valley

After morning pickup at your Waikiki hotel, board your comfortable, climate-controlled coach and set out on your 120-mile (193-kilometer) trip around Oahu.

Drive past Diamond Head and stop at Hanauma Bay and the geyser-like Halona Blowhole. Pass Sandy Beach on the way to the Makapu’u lookout, then continue inland to the Nuʻuanu Pali lookout. This spot, where King Kamehameha I fought for control of the island in 1795, gives panoramic views out over Kailua Bay and Kanehoe Bay.

Stop midday at a charming spot for lunch (own expense). Throughout the day, your guide provides entertaining commentary on Oahu’s history, culture and news. Stop along the way for plenty of rest stops and photo ops.

Drive to the Byodo-In Bhuddhist temple, located in the picturesque Ko'olau Mountains. Ring the Peace bell for happiness and a long life, then stroll through the gorgeous temple grounds and visit the 9-foot (3-meter) golden Buddha statue. Back on board the bus, head for the coast to see the island's famous beaches, loved by surfers worldwide: Banzai Pipeline, Waimea Bay and Sunset Beach. Walk through the Waimea Valley's verdant rainforest while your guide points out native flora and fauna, eventually arriving at Waimea Falls.

Leaving the falls, head to the Dole Plantation to see where the island's famous pineapples are grown. Take a leisurely walk through the plantation's gardens and enjoy a frozen pineapple treat before enjoying drop-off at your Waikiki hotel.

Our tour guide NOA made this the best trip every. It was full day and he kept it interesting and fun the whole time. How he kept it up ALL day is beyond me. From 7:30am till he dropped us off at 5pm, he was on his game. Funny, interesting, quizzicle. Dole plantation was too short. Should spend a littme more time there. We hit so many places. It was a great appetizer of all there is to see.
Great job!!!

I wasn't quite sure what to expect from this tour. But it was simply amazing!!! We saw SO many things in just one day! Starting with a breathtaking view of Oahu from the Nu'uanu Pali lookout! This tour is well worth the money! You literally go around the whole island! My only wish is that we could have had a bit more time at the Dole plantation. I would have liked to look around more. Rest assured...this tour will create memories that will last a lifetime!

This trip is the best way to view the entire island. Our tour guide, Shannon O, was fantastic! He is a combination, science and history teacher who explained things with great detail. He was very accommodating and hilarious. The sights that we visited were the Dole Plantation, the North Shore, and the Buddhist Temple amazing!. If you are to take this trip try to plan it at the beginning of your vacation because you will definitely want to revisit some of the stops, especially the lunchtime shrimp stand!!!

This is a must do once you are in Oahu. Our driver, Rocky, a native Hawaiian was a great source of stories and knowledge. Comparing with other island tours, this is more complete. Definitely will recommend this to anyone, you will have a great day.

This tour was really enjoyable! Beautiful sites that I wouldn and #39;t have seen otherwise. Our driver/guide was funny and knowledgeable. We had a great shrimp lunch at Fumi and #39;s. The falls were beautiful. Bring your bathing suit if you want to go in the falls. Very happy we did the trip.

This was a wonderful trip. Our guide Lisa was very friendly and knowledgeable. Stops included a Japenese Temple, Waimea Falls, North Shore Beaches, a Coral Beach and a blow hole. The tour is a gastronomic delight too as there are stops at a Macademia Nut Farm, lunch at a Shrimp Farm and a stop at the Dole plantation for pineapple ice cream and fresh pineapple. Excellent day out which lasts eight hours.
