A Bit of Everything Oahu
Susan_S, Aug 2022
This was a great way to see many parts of an area where we had never been before. We found places we would want to see again and, when we had a day to ourselves and a rental car, we DID go back to a place we had driven through on the bus. The driver/guide was fun and knowledgeable and the bus was very comfortable with easily climbed steps for my "elder" legs.
Response from Host, Aug 2022
Aloha Susan, We appreciate you sharing your experience with us. I'm happy to hear about your comfort and going back to a place we just drove past. Mahalo,

It's much too long. Just passed by a lot of things. Driver spoke more about real estate prices. A total waste of a day!
Response from Host, Jul 2022
Aloha Temika, The Oahu Grand Circle Island Tour has stops at Halona Blowhole Lookout, Nu'uanu Pali Lookout, Byodo-in Temple and Dole Plantation. All other sites are drive by. Thank you for your review.
Awesome tour! Awesome tour guide!
Yesenia_P, Jul 2022
This was an enjoyable experience! Our tour guide, Wes, was so friendly, funny and knowledgeable about each area of our tour. I felt we got a good run through of the island’s most important areas. This serves as a good beginner tour at the start of your stay so you can later choose what you would like to spend more time doing throughout the rest of your stay in Hawaii.
Response from Host, Jul 2022
Aloha Yesenia, We appreciate your wonderful review. Thank you for sharing your experience with our Driver/Guide Wes. We hope to see you on one of our other tours. Mahalo,

Nice taste of the island
Jonathan_D, Jun 2022
Quite different from the smaller nature tour of the North shore that I was part of the day earlier but nonetheless, was quite an enjoyable day. Johnny was very informative and accommodating and made a long day an unforgettable experience. I was very grateful that we were allowed longer at the dole plantation, as it really does take the better part of 30-40 minutes to be able to sample the pineapple ice cream due to the long queues. Be prepared for a jam-packed day but you definitely get value for money.
Response from Host, Jun 2022
Aloha Jonathan, Thank you for your review and sharing your unforgettable experience with us. Johnny love's sharing his knowledge of the Islands and spreading the Aloha Spirit. I'm happy to hear that, he accomplished that. Mahalo,

Viator and Roberts Hawaii need some work to do on this tour
Louie_R, Apr 2022
I purchased this tour for my sister and brother in law visiting Hawaii for the first time. I opted to print the ticket because their phone doesn’t have the app. On the ticket, the pick up location was specified as 2424 Kalakaua and a map with highlighted spot. Time was specified at 06:30. My sister called Roberts at 06:30 and was told the bus was running late and given an ETA of 07:15. She called back at 0750 and was told by Roberts that they were NO SHOW. I called Roberts about this and asked why did this happen even though they’re waiting. What happened was they were waiting at the address specified on the voucher and she was told to wait at the other side of the hotel. As most of first time travelers will agree to what I’m going to say… if you’re first time visitor you’re not familiar with the streets and you don’t readily carrying a pen and paper with you..so they’re instinct was still to wait at the address specified on the ticket. I called Roberts if they made a courtesy call while the driver was waiting for them to get on the bus. Roberts service customer agent said…”We normally do but we did not do it this morning because the BUS IS BEHIND SCHEDULE. This answer is UNACCEPTABLE to give to a client. I have taken a lot of Viator tours and was waiting at the wrong spot but always get a call from the driver. I called Viator about this incident and also my credit card company. My credit card company promptly resolved my dispute and issued a credit with a note that is permanently resolved. A few hours later, I got an email from Elvira, Viator’s customer service that I’m posting…. “Thank you for your patience as we reviewed your refund request. Upon investigation, we are unable to offer a refund for this booking. The tour operator was prepared to fulfill this experience on the originally booked date and time. The tour operator has been able to provide documentation of their passenger manifests confirming other travelers were picked up from the same departure point as the booking in question. We appreciate your understanding in this matter” I called back Roberts and asked why my sister not given a courtesy call. They were there waiting and even inquired about the bus arrival. The agent said that some third party vendors don’t provide client’s contact number. Whether this is true or not, there’s something wrong with these company partnership that they need to take care of to provide hassle free service to the clients. My suggestion to Viator, please redo your ticket document with detailed information, the exact street number or side of the hotel building the clients should wait. For Roberts Hawaii, please give your clients courtesy call especially if they inquired the bus arrival instead of opting not to do it due to bus running behind schedule.
Response from Host, Apr 2022
Aloha Louie, Thank your review. I apologize for the miscommunication or lack of. This is a great opportunity for training. I would love to investigate. Can you please send me the date and last name for this reservation? Mahalo,

Grand Tour With The Best!
JeremiahJOhn_D, Mar 2022
Hands down one of the best tours on the island! Couldn't have asked for a better bus driver and tour guide/singer (Fabulous Felix) "the legend." He went above and beyond to give us an amazing tour of the island and make a bunch of awesome stops along the way at the Halona Blowhole, Chinaman's Hat, the macadamia nut farm, Dole plantation, and the breathtaking views at Nu’uanu Pali & the beautiful, serene Byodo-In Temple! I would highly recommend this tour of the island above all others. All the destinations on the island were a hit, along with a breathtaking stop at Kualoa Ranch for lunch!! Don't forget to order the mixed plate for lunch, absolutely delicious!!!
Response from Host, Mar 2022
Aloha Jeremiah, Thank you for sharing your tour experience with us. I'm glad you enjoyed your time with Felix. We hope to see you again soon on one of our other tours. Mahalo,

Judith_W, Mar 2022
Covered a lot of territory, with many stops. Wanted to see the Dole Plantation, Ranch and Japanese Temple. That done, we would probably not return to those attractions, again. They were just OK. New, comfortable bus. Driver, Simon was excellent. We learned a lot about Hawaii. Glad that we could see so much of the Island.
Response from Host, Mar 2022
We appreciate your review and comments. Also, thank you for sharing your experience with your driver Simon. Mahalo,

Our tour guide made this trip a 5 because he added so much information about the island, old stories, politics with island life (in a good way), and his personal life here on the island.
