WOW! From beginning to end this trip was amazing. Picked up promptly and a short 30-40 minute drive to the north shore where you board the boat. Leave the harbour with around 15-20 people on board and sail for about 30minutes or less out to sea, where they stop the boat and attach the cords or whatever to the cages. They then spend a little time going through health and safety etc. AND THEN ITS YOUR TURN! More adrenaline than I thought I had rushed through me, and we must have seen atleast 15 sharks they did say it was unusual to see this many so we must have been lucky and you do spend a good amount of time in the cage. From there we returned to the boat and headed back to shore, where we ended up waiting nearly an hour for the mini bus. Well worth doing if you don't plan on returning to Hawaii for a while!
TAKE DRAMAMINE!! My husband and I both took it and we still got sick. The crew said it happens on every tour and that they've even had a naval captain get woozy on their boat! That said, the crew was great! The views of the sharks were incredible!!! We were surrounded by 5 or 6 big sharks and a few schools of fish! Even with getting ill my husband and I agreed that it was well worth it!
Great crew, nice large boat. The tour felt safe and lived up to the promise to see sharks. Wonderful experience.
It was amazing to be out in the ocean in the safety of a cage watching the Sharks swim by! Very friendly and organised team that organised same! Recommend it!
This was absolutely amazing and a once-in-a-lifetime adventure! The boat crew was fantastic. We will never forget our day in the ocean with the sharks!
There are no words that can fully describe the experience. From the shuttle driver to the ship crew, we were well taken care of. The experience is one that everyone should try. The only warning is that the washroom facilities at the marina is not clean on any scale. Getting the video done allowed me to enjoy the experience without worrying about taking photos, and the quality of the videos is well worth the express. Big thanks to all
We had a great time. You might want to take some motion sickness meds first. I didn't think it would bother me, but.... it did. We felt bad because we didn't bring any cash to leave a tip. The guys on the boat deserve it! We even came back later to pay a tip, but they were closed for the evening.
This excursion was amazing! The guides were very attentive and knowledgeable. I was looking forward to doing this shark dive and this entire experience exceeded my expectations. We were a party of 7 and everyone ranging in ages 11-55 had a wonderful time. Don't miss this wonderful opportunity!

It was a great trip an very nice people who sail the boat, hope we Will be back again in 2019.
What can I say? I faced my fear face to face, sharks!
The boat ride was beautiful and we saw dolphins on our way to the cage in the middle of the ocean. The time in the cage felt like 5 minutes. The sharks were curious about us.
The captain and his shipmates made trip very interesting by luring sharks towards our boat with an empty coffee mug. Thank you guys for the opportunity to hang out with you all!
Take Dramamine 1 hour before the boat ride even if you think you won't get sea sick. Better to be safe than sorry!
The tour was great. Sea was a bit rough and we all felt sick. Sharks galour during the dive. My 5 year old hated it but we all loved it
Great communication from the group. They had to cancel because of bad weather but rescheduled quickly to accommodate our trip dates. Very nice staff. Informative, friendly and made us feel very comfortable. My nephew decided not to go in the cage and they encouraged him without being pushy. We had an awesome time and saw 9 sharks! Great experience! My brother in law also misplaced a Tshirt on the boat and Joe provided him with a free souvenir shirt to wear home and texted us when they found the original shirt.
The instructors were very helpful and made the experience worth every penny!! The choppy waves were not their fault . Lol .. We loved every minute of this experience ! Thank you!
I recently went on the Cage Diving with Sharks tour with NORTH SHORE SHARKS ADVENTURES with my teenage daughter and her friend and WE LOVED IT!!! I was a bit reluctant about this tour because I did not know what to expect but everything went well..from the pick up to the boat ride out to open sea to entering the cage. The whole crew was very nice, funny and helpful. They guided my girls through the whole process and it was an experience of a lifetime!!! We were able to see many sharks from the boat and the girls were able to see them up close and personal from the cage. Thanks North Shore Shark Adventures for a great tour!!! My only tip is to take nausea pills 30 minutes before you get on the boat to avoid getting sea sick. A few who did not take the pills did.
The tour was great! The capt and crew were awesome! So friendly and helpful. There were LOTS of sharks to see - no disappointment there! Unfortunately, I did get really sea sick - which never happens. The swells are large and never ending. I can handle some gentle waves and rocking motion - but this was way beyond that - so prepare yourself! The crew was very sweet and helpful to those of us who were sick I wasn't the only one. I highly recommend this tour! Thank you North Shore Shark Adventures!

It is on the documentation you are sent, and don't ignore this - it will make this once in a lifetime experience so much better. Even if you are never sick, this is the Pacific and you are sat there for over an hour in those Hawaiian waves which make this a surfers paradise. Around 50 of the boat will be ill, so don't let this ruin your day.
That being said this is one amazing experience. The sharks are there naturally, so can always been seen and are bigger than you think. Because the sharks are there naturally and not lured, the whole experience is just incredible. They swim around you constantly.
This is a once in a lifetime experience and worth doing. I would not recommend taking along family members not doing this though, the motion on the boat and sick people won't make this a great experience for them.
