What You Can Expect

Oahu and Pearl Harbor Sightseeing Tour from Waikiki

View from the memorial window overlooking the USS Arizona and Pearl Harbor

Following pickup at your Waikiki hotel in the early morning, board your coach and head for the first stop on your ten-hour tour, the USS Arizona Memorial at Pearl Harbor.
Follow your guide on a tour through the museum and memorial, beginning with a 25-minute film about the history of Pearl Harbor. Then, board a boat for the brief trip out to the memorial itself, a building built over the submerged ship. Through the clear floor of the structure, you can see the battleship on the ocean floor below. Walk around the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center, perusing the World War II artifacts and educational displays.
Return to your comfortable coach and set out on your sightseeing tour of Oahu. Drive to the North Shore to see famous surfing beaches like Pipeline, Waimea Bay and Sunset. Stop at the Dole Plantation for a frozen pineapple treat and a stroll through the gift shop.
Midday, stop for lunch (own expense).
Stop at Nuʻuanu Pali lookout, where King Kamehameha I won a fierce battle for control of Oahu in 1795. Enjoy panoramic views of Kailua Bay and Kanehoe Bay, then head down through the mountains towards the coast, stopping at Halona Blowhole and Hanauma Bay. Listen as your guide offers information about all the sites, ask questions, and be sure to have your camera ready.
Return to Waikiki for drop-off at your hotel around 4 pm.

We had the most amazing trip with Paulini. She was one of the best tour guides we have had, anywhere in the world.
Her delivery of the information and history of the island was fascinating.

Paulini Heavenly Flower has a great love and passion for her country and for all people.

We have already recommended your company and in particular Paulini to our friends when they visit Oahu.

Thank you Paulini for making our first visit to Oahu so memorable. Good luck to you Best wishes Stuart and Robyn Anderson

There was a diverse group of folks in our tour and we all enjoyed the vast amount of knowledge that our guide, Gonzo passed along to us during our full day of circling the island of O'ahu. Well worth the price of admission.

My husband and I both thoroughly enjoyed this tour. Cousin George, as he called himself, was our tour guide. He was fantastic. I appreciated that he talked slowly and loudly so we could understand him since he has a pretty strong accent. Our group had about 11 people total. This tour was one of the highlights of our week in Honolulu. The time at Pearl Harbor was just enough to see the USS Arizona Memorial and take a short walk through the grounds. So if you want extensive time there and want to go in the submarines and do the self-guided tour by earphones, you may want to do the individual Pearl Harbor tour. But for us, it was enough. Same thing with the Dole Plantation, it was a quick stop but we had time to partake of the famous Dole Whip.
The best part though is seeing all the beautiful beaches that Oahu has to offer! So many photo opps, it is amazing.
The stop for lunch was at a golf course. The food was okay, it was good enough and just enough to get you through the rest of the trip. The thing I did not expect was the lunch was included in the tour so we only had to tip the server. You could choose from 5 menu items and it came with a drink and dessert. The impression I get is each tour guide goes chooses their lunch stop so you may end up somewhere else.
The only thing we did not get to do was the Halona Blowhole b/c it is closed on Tuesdays. But the description of this tour was very accurate.
If you want to see the different beaches with stops at Dole and Pearl Harbor this is the tour for you.
