It supports a small business, there is plenty of space for everyone and more personable interactions, since the charters limit the number of attendees.
If you want to have a truly cultural experience on an authentic Polynesian "canoe" (catamaran).. do it!
They only recently made this available to the public and it is a great way to learn about the culture and support local.

One of the best amazing beautiful excursions my family and I did while in Hawaii! So relaxing and educational. The staff is phenomenal, knowledgeable and caring. This is a must do when coming to visit this beautiful island.

Mahalo for joining us on a beautiful sunset and for the great review!
Unique. Not touristy. Fun. Saw cool ocean life. Would do AGAIN!

Loved: Hawaii, special evening, no crowds, such fun with integrity and truly unparalleled expert knowledge? Hosts: captain Robert, deckhand Evan and expert artists/educators were super impressive-warmth, honesty, unique skills, ocean smarts, abs ensuring each guest is attended to with courtesy and aloha respect? This excursion had all. “Expensive” ? Yeah. Worth it cuz: not fake tourist-y and felt cared for and actually part of experience? 150% yes. Just do it!

This is a very interesting and traditional experience, if you want to learn about the Hawaiian culture and food then this is for you. The crew was very friendly and knowledgeable, however it was not my cup of tea and for that reason I did not like it.
    Response from Host, Jan 2022

We went as party of 4 including our kids age 8 and 10y old. The captain and talented crew were amazing! This experience was authentic and taught us so much about Hawaiian culture in a gorgeous and intimate setting. THANK YOU! One of the highlights of our trip! Mahalo🙏🏽🙏🏽

I am glad you find us to be one of your highlights while visiting Hawaii. I know the teachers and crew work hard to give a safe and fun educational excursion. Thank you for the great review!
    Authentic old Hawaii
    Luana_H, Dec 2021
This was an educational experience, not a booze cruise. Hawaiian educators taught us some music and words, helped us pound poi, and fed us some authentic foods. Anela and our other guides, and Captain Rob, made it magical.

Mahalo for joining us on a sunset cruise and the wonderful review.
    Heart & Soul of Hawaii

What a beautiful and memorable experience with Captain Rob & crew. Learn from on board historian, mele's, food & drink, and Oahu views from the ocean. My brother lives in Oahu, and he found it just as interesting as I did! Departed feeling relaxed and one step closer to feeling like a local. Keep up the great work!
    Response from Host, Nov 2021
Thank you for the sweet review! We enjoyed hosting you, Capt Rob and crew!

A fabulous trip for everyone! The food we helped prepare was fabulous! We were entertained with the stories and history our guides shared. The music was beautiful and we enjoyed learning to play Hawaiian musical instruments! And oh that sunset!!! It was much more than we expected and money well-spent. A memorable evening with a very pleasant and knowledgeable crew!
