Having stayed in Waikiki on several occasions, the tour of the rest of the island was indeed refreshing. I cannot say enough about how much we liked our tour guide, Keith. Being a lifetime resident of Hawaii, Keith's knowledge and information were very much appreciated however, his jokes left room for improvements. Really a great tour which I highly recommend.

yes it was a small group..we were three in a mercedes sedan..John Jr was the best..very intimate tour ..nicely paced and enjoyable with no pressure on time to keep going..he was patient as I tried to photograph the large sea turtles at one of the stops..Perfect host on a great trip
Despite the rain, it was an enjoyable experience. Our tour guide was very good.
We enjoyed a group of just six and a fantastic local guide who made sure we got the best use of our time. Thanks also to the office staff who got us on the tour at short notice.
Our guide Keno, was superb. Told us innumerable facts about Hawaiian culture and history. Took his time, answered all our questions. Having been to the Cultural Center previously, I was raving to my friends about it. To only see 2 or 3 exhibits was a major disappointment. Please allow more time there to learn about the various islands. The canoe event was nice, but that time could have been better used learning.
We had a very enjoyable day. Christine was our guide and although she was not native to the island, we learned a lot from her. There were lots of others also going to the Dole Plantation and the Cultural Center that day... So her tips on where to meet and which lines to stand in made it easy to avoid the rush and enjoy the whole experience.
This was a really good tour. The biggest part of the day is spent at the Polynesian Cultural Centre. This was the main reason we decided to take this tour, as we have been on a circle island tour before that did not include the Polynesian Centre. Our driver was very funny. He entertained us all day. He knew the tricks to getting in early to all our stops to avoid any queues.
Great tour, Driver and Guide -- Chrystine -- very knowledgeable and freindly.
The tour was excellent and the tour guideTony was very patient and
Great tour and wonderful guide! Would do it again and hope we get the same lady.
This was my 4th trip to Oahu and it was the same as the first, GREAT. It's a beautiful island, the people are
very patient with those of us that don't know our way around and the Hale Koa hotel is the best!!

We enjoyed our trip completely, everything was wonderful, we couldn't have gotten a better tour guide, we had lunch here which was great, enjoyed the shows and shopping.
Cousin Hana was awesome. He was full of historical information about the sites we visited. He seemed genuinely concerned that we have a great experience. Everything was on time and well organized. We especially enjoyed the Polynesian Cultural Center and Byodo In Temple.
we had an amazing day ,the polynesian centre was so worth seeing all the villages we were greeted with such warmth. learning about the different cultures ,varying costumes and food preparation was so interesting. The wonderful canoe flotilla with all villages performing their dances was spectacular. we also visited the dole plantation where they grow pineapples, wandering around the gardens was beautiful. also we took in the north coast beaches where winter surfing takes place, wow what a truley beautiful part of oahu. the final part of the day was the viewpoint looking down over honolulu, amazing end to a great trip with
We very much enjoyed this tour. We got to see more of the 'real' Hawaii. Enjoy the performances at the PCC and get a Pineapple Whip at the Dole Plantation. Our guide 'Josh' was excellent, very helpful and informative. I liked the smaller group.
Very nice trour. Our driver Ken was very informative. Too little time at the Dole Plantation, could not see anything but the gift shop. The Cultural Center was beautiful, The trip back was very educational, learned a lot about Hawaii I never knew. Worth the money!
Jonathan, our guide, really worked hard to make sure we had a great experience. He was entertaining on the bus and made sure that we got to the Cultural Centre on time for the buffet. This meant we got to find good tables to sit at and got our food quickly - no time wasted standing in long queues. The food was really good too. Ahead of time he indicated to us the best attractions to visit because there is not time to see all. That was a big help because no time was wasted trying to work out what to do and when. I am amazed at how well he kept up his enthusiasm throughout the day - I would have been exhausted. When he dropped us off we all got a hug and those still on the bus wished us 'aloha'.
The island of Oahu is beautiful and I'm pleased I got to see outside Waikiki. This tour was well worth the money and Jonathan really earned a good tip. He generously made the effort to take everyone's photos (with their own camera) in a couple of locations. Travelling on my own meant that I actually got to be in a couple of my holiday photos.
Great trip and the guide made the day fun and he was very knowledgeable.
