What You Can Expect

Stand-Up Paddleboard Lesson and Snorkeling in Kaneohe Bay

This tour is great for all experience levels under the guidance of your instructor

After morning pickup at your Waikiki hotel, climb aboard a comfortable vehicle for a ride to He'eia State Park.

Meet your experienced paddleboard guide, who will give you a safety briefing and orientation to all the paddleboarding equipment. Receive instruction on paddling and steering, then hit the water for some practice. Once you're comfortable, follow your guide out in Kaneohe Bay to various beautiful spots, determined by the group's skill level and the day's conditions. You might visit an ancient Hawaiian fishpond, the Sunken Island sandbar or one of the sheltered bay's pristine coral reefs.

Stop at some great snorkel spots to swim with eagle rays, manta rays, sea turtles and schools of colorful fish.

At the conclusion of several hours of water sports, head back to the beach for a traditional barbecue lunch. Shower and change at the park's facilities while the staff prepares the food, then dig in and enjoy the food amidst views of the waterfront scenery.

After lunch, enjoy transportation back to your Waikiki hotel.

5 star rating: Highly Recommended January 2016

The tour guide Bailey, I think? was just a WEALTH of knowledge about the local culture and history, and he was hilarious as well. He took extra special care of me all throughout, and his instruction was very clear, making it very easy for a novice like myself to catch on. The lunch afterwards was delicious as well. All in all a wonderful day and a great experience. Would definitely recommend this tour.
