Lots of interesting history of the downtown area and city combined with delicious tastings? It was hard to beat! We had a great time on this tour and it was a private small group so our guide was really focused on us.

Great way to get to know the food highlights of Oaxaca! Great tour guide, very knowledgeable, and lovely. We got to sample lots of food and drinks, and were taken to the best spots in the two markets. Highly recommend! Thank you

Our tour guide was lovely but it was not worth the money at all. No food was provided on the tour and you had to purchase everything yourself. We were only taken to two markets and one external store.

Elizabeth was not only a great guide but a great Spanish teacher for me while we wandered through the markets. She gave me a brief education is someone hacking history and a very thorough education about the local gastronomy. We tried tajete, horchata, and fried grasshoppers. She also took me to see how chocolate is made and finally sat and had a delicious “Mexican pizza“ with me in the second market.
