The boat ride was great, good brunch. Our guide Sarah was wonderful, she asked what we liked and gave us a wonderful day. Very knowledgeable about the area and very pleasant. Really enjoy the tour.

Excellent tour. Even though the brunch seating was almost cheek to cheek which made it problematic for the very friendly crew to keep everyone supplied with enough coffee, water, etc. to drink we were never even offered the free mimosas, the food was tasty and the views from the boat...wow! The captain was masterful in handling the vessel and told us extremely interesting things along the tour the audio system was A. Above deck it was not crowded, with two levels to view the magnificent river, forest and mountains. We saw planes heading to dip water from the river to put out fires, amazing wind surfers in the boat's wake, and even a seal relaxing on a rock! The captain welcomed people into the wheelhouse, even a few kids who helped steer. This was a fine way to see the Gorge from a different point of view.

Well worth the time and money. Saw and did that which would not have happened on our own. Very knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and enjoyable tour guide Carrie who went above and beyond to accommodate our needs and quest for knowledge. Plenty of Oregon facts, history and Native American lore. Brunch on the Columbia River was very good with plenty of food and drink, beautiful scenery. Mount Hood was incredible. If there was one small point to be aware of, it is a lot of driving, but that's what you get when Timberline Lodge is 70 miles away.
