What You Can Expect

Explore Wild Florida from Orlando

Explore Wild Florida from Orlando

Just 45-minutes south of Orlando is the Wild Florida Airboats and Wildlife Park in Kenanville, the self-proclaimed “middle of nowhere” destination featuring airboat tours, ranch buggy tours, a wildlife park, restaurant and more.

Enjoy Florida’s natural beauty with a 30-minute airboat ride. Hop on board a U.S. Coast Guard-certified airboat and skim the shoreline or head deep into the 4,200 acres of protected swamps, marshes and rivers of the Central Florida Everglades. Catch a glimpse of alligators, eagles, turkeys, wild boars, wading birds (known as roseate spoonbills) and other native creatures. A life jacket and ear protection are provided for each guest.

Then, take a step back in time and ride the range of a cattle operation dating back more than 100 years on a ranch buggy ride. The ranch buggy roams the Doc Partin Ranch, one of the oldest cattle operations in the state of Florida. See cattle, wild turkeys, wild hogs, deer, eagles and maybe even an alligator or two in one of the waterways running through the ranch.

Back at the Wildlife Park, take a guided tour and get up close with more than 200 different animals. Check out the lemurs, sloths, zebras, watusi cattle, bobcats and other animals native to South America, Africa and Australia. Kids will love the covered playground as well as feeding and learning more about baby animals in the Petting Zoo.

Of course, a trip to the Wild Florida Airboats and Wildlife Park would not be complete without a hug from an alligator. Experience the wild side of Florida and hold one of the park’s gators during the popular Gator Handling Show.

The day includes a delicious barbeque lunch at the Chomp House Grill (featuring pulled pork, smoked ribs or smoked chicken plus a side dish, bread and drink), an alligator souvenir and commemorative photo holding a live alligator.

5 star rating: Highly Recommended October 2015

Would recommend this to anyone. Lovely clean, well presented area. Our guide on the air-boat Captain Alec was great, and we spotted 7 Gators, some Buzzards, and 2 Bald Eagles.
The animal and reptile area is spacious and very clean, the lunch good, and the Ranch tour very interesting.

It was advertised as a 10 hour trip but was only 7 hrs. We were picked up at 08:50 just after breakfast but then had lunch at 11:30 which was rushed to catch the show at 12:00. Mike and the other guides were very good and knowledgeable .The Boat ride and the truck ride were good even though we did not see any Crocks. We had a good day just needed a bit more time
