A great day out

We took this tour with Taku as we had a free day in Osaka from our two week Tripadeal tour. Taku met us at our hotel and was flexible with his itinerary to take into account the experiences we had already seen. He brought historical fact sheets with him so we could refer to these along the way. We visited the Osaka Castle which was beautiful but we didn’t go in because we had already seen Himeji castle a couple of days before. Taku took us to the best photo spots away from the crowds. We then took the subway to the Kuromon food market where Taku helped us sample sashimi, sushi, wagyu, soy doughnuts and rice cakes. He paid for most of these for us. After that we went to the kitchen goods marketplace and Taku helped us buy some goods to take home. After that we walked through the tiny laneways to show us shrines and temples we would otherwise not have found as well as spots where Japanese puppetry used to take place and then finally finished up at the centre of Dotonbori. We enjoyed our day with Taku and would recommend.

Osaka castle and food tour

We had an incredible experience and ate lots of delicious food. We loved the pastries we got near Osaka castle and all the food we ate at the fish market was incredible. It was such a great experience to see the city with a local guide, Hideka, who was an amazing guide!

Osaka tour

It was awesome experience, Mie was knowledgeable, have patience and enjoy showing us many places that we would not have gone by ourselves. It was very fun, enjoyable and memorable trip. Learned how subway system works in a minute from Mie.

Must do in Osaka

Kumico was a fantastic guide around the sights of Osaka. Clear communication from booking to the morning of the tour. Starting at the Osaka castle was great to hear about the history of the area. The main event at the markets was fantastic. Kumico adapted the food samples to work with the group we had with ease. I can highly recommend this tour in a town where you can be paralysed by food choice.

Oh man we had a great time! Our guide took lots of great pictures for us, and knew all the best food to grab. It felt like spending a day with friends, which is pretty great for just having met our guide and the other participant!

Wir haben diese Tour als Einstieg zu unserer Japan Reise gebucht. Taku, unser Guide, hat einen guten Job gemacht und sich sehr gut um uns gekümmert. Von Osaka / Japan hatte er jedoch wenig Ahnung. Für den hohen Preis hätten wir uns deutlich mehr fundierte Hintergrundinformationen und nicht nur vorbereitete, abgelesen Texte gewünscht.
