The tour was carefully and well chosen tour the cost seems expensive when you book it compared to other European counties, but it is no more expensive than going out for dinner in Oslo so good value considering the lovely tour of Oslo you get, real Norwegian food and good beer and chixolate Loved it
YuMei, my guide, was highly knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Plenty of culture and history mixed in with the food. Highly recommended.

Very conversational... felt like spending the afternoon with friends
An excellent, delicious, and filling food walking tour! Our guide explained to us in detail the culinary scene in Oslo, and the various types of dishes and cuisine popular in Oslo. Not only was our guide an encyclopedia of culinary knowledge, she was very friendly and engaging as well. I highly recommend this food walking tour of Oslo, by taking this walking tour you'll gain culinary insight on what's happening in Oslo. And with that, I feel this food walking tour is an excellent complement to any other guided tour, sightseeing excursion, and/or your own personal independent plans you may take while in Oslo.
Excellent in every way. Our guide can't remember her name but she is part Malaysian and part Polish gorgeous woman. She loves Oslo and her enthusiasm was wonderful. She took us to great spots and gave us lots of information about the food and the city. We have taken food tours in several cities and this was the best.
This was the perfect introduction to Oslo. Our guide was wonderful, and we learned such a lot about Oslo in general and the food in particular.
The guide was great, the food is delicious, and we learned a lot about the Norwegian culture AND numerous great spots to try! This was my third trip to Oslo and I know so much more than teh trips before. I highly recommend the food walking tour and early on in your trip to a new city!
What a wonderful Oslo Walking Food Tour! Our tour guide was so knowledgeable, friendly and she made the experience a day to remember. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone that like to taste the local food and see a different side of Oslo than one might not normally see.
Sara was an amazing guide who showed us around the various food locales in Oslo. The guided tour also had commentary on the various areas of Oslo. We tasted so many delicious foods and I even returned on my own to two of the restaurants to try out some more things. This was overall a fantastic experience, one that I will recommend to everyone visiting Oslo. Thank you Sara!
This walking tour was so lovely. We visited several different spots a food hall, chocolatier, brewery, etc., all reached through scenic walking routes through Oslo. Our guide Yumei was a total sweetheart and super knowledgable about the city, the locations we visited and gave great tips for nightlife and dining in Oslo as well as other Norwegian cities that some tour members were planning to visit. Would absolutely recommend!
We really enjoyed our guide who was friendly, vivacious and had a great sense of humour. She was knowledgeable about all aspects of Norwegian food and took us to some incredible places with great tastings of local delicacies. A bonus was the advice she gave us on outstanding local restaurants which we were very grateful for. We thoroughly recommend this tour.
We really enjoyed this walking tour, as it took us thru neighbourhoods we wouldn't have discovered on our own. Sampled many Nordic foods and local beers on this tour, and thru the tour, discovered a restaurant that we end up going to on two more occasions, because we enjoyed its food and atmosphere so much. Some of the regional foods we sampled were cheeses, reindeer pate, and even whale meat! Our guide was very pleasant to chat with, and helpful in providing suggestions on where to eat in other locations in Norway we were going to head to. Overall it was an excellent orientation to Oslo, and we thoroughly enjoyed all of it, and would highly recommend.
It was a great way to see the city. Our tour guide was excellent and gave us great tips on where to eat. We also saw parts of the city we probably would not have walked to if not for this tour.
The trip to Oslo and the Food Tour were a birthday present for my boyfried. We were the only ones on the tour with our guide which made it very personal.
The Food was great and we also learned a lot about Oslo and it's history.
Our Tour Guide was just great and we had a lot of fun. She also gave us further great tips for Restaurants, Cafes and Bars.
I recommend the tour to everyone who wants to get a local insight of Oslo.
Yumei our tour guide was amazing! We learned so many things beyond food. Since it was a small group it was really just me, my boyfriend and our guide, we talked about everything and anything, from the culture, the people, and history. The food was amazing and the walk was invigorating. I highly recommend to everyone!
Learn a lot about Oslo, the culture and enjoy the food and beer with an charming and enthusiastic guide. Very pleasurable.
So disclaimer - I love food tours in general. But this was an excellent tour. We missed the first stop because we were late getting there from the airport. We called the number viator had as the contact number which was completely wrong sorry to the random stranger that I was frantically explaining our lateness to. I ended up emailing the company and they gave me the correct phone number to call so we could meet up with the group. The tour guide was excellent. She knew so much about the history and the city itself. She showed us all the local hot spots along the way to the food stops.
This was a great tour, our guide was really friendly and helpful. she showed us different parts of the city and gave us some interesting information on history and typical Norwegian cultures. Food tastings were generous, especially the chocolate and lunch stop. Would defiantly recommend.
Well worth the price. Great way to see Oslo and taste local food.
Our guide, Margirita, was excellent. Great English and knowledge of the food scene and the city
A really nice and small tour that takes you throughout the city while trying different kinds of really interesting and delicious food. Our tour guide was excellent!
Not just food but lots of fun. A very enjoyable way to learn about Oslo while you are visiting restaurants and pubs around town. We had a great group to tour with and stayed 1 1/2 hours after the tour visiting with new friends from Liverpool.
Our guide was extremely informative. Despite the fact that only 2 of us showed the weather was bad, she was still eager. She took us to some local places, that we would have never found on our own and we had the opportunity to taste traditional foods from this area. If you are looking for a casual experience paired with local food and beer, I would recommend this.
This was a great experience. Our guide was very knowledgable, and not only gave us an insight to Norwegian food, but other interesting facts about Oslo as we walked between the various food venues.
