A wonderful afternoon
Awilda_R, Oct 2021
My husband and I traveled to Oxford to accompany our daughter on her first trip abroad. We booked this tour before leaving and didn’t really know what to expect. It turned out to be one of our favorite afternoons. Chris is incredibly knowledgeable and engaging. We stopped at a number of locations with wonderful discussions along the way. We could have perhaps toured with a bigger group but the private tour with Chris was much more satisfying. He reached out before we met to ask about our interests and did not disappoint.

Thank you! You both reached out too: a great afternoon in enjoyable, interesting and fun company. So pleased you appreciated it all so much. With Best Wishes

We had a most interesting and informative tour with our guide, Chris. He hit all the highlights and also included things he thought we might enjoy after getting to know us a bit. He was very knowledgeable and personable. We would book him again for another focused tour.

Thank you - much appreciated. You were perfect company too and I really enjoyed our time together exploring Oxford (and the Latin translations!). I look forward to seeing you again in Oxford before too long. Until then:

My friend and I had THE most wonderful tour of Oxford with Chris. What a phenomenal guide he is! He gives you history with knowledge and humor. He makes the very walls come alive. We had the most wonderful time. If you go to Oxford, be sure to take this tour. It is more than just a another tour, it is an experience. Thank you, Chris.

Thank You for your fab review and recommendation! I had a wonderful time too! You were both such excellent, fun, company and the shared interests and delights were many.
Ideally, guiding is not a one-way venture but a conversation, an exploration, a celebration. And that's what we had and is much appreciated.

Chris was brilliant. He made the history of Oxford come to life through interesting tales, facts and anecdotes. Even though our students were foreign, they were involved and interested from the very beginning. I would highly recommend the tour, which because of the enthusiasm and infectious personality of Chris, became the highlight of the entire visit to the U.K for our students.

Thank you so much for your wonderful review. Your students were a delight to be with and a credit to you and your school! Again, thank you. So appreciated.

I had an afternoon to explore Oxford on my own while my other half played cricket!!
Chris was brilliant ... the tour showcased Oxford and a few of its iconic colleges... amazing churches and a pub hidden away down a tiny passageway
but frequented by some very famous patrons!
I thoroughly enjoyed my Oxford walking tour and can’t recommend Chris highly enough... he personalizes the tour to your specific interests ...
Perfect for me...
Thanks Chris ... loved it

My husband and I had an awesome private tour with Chris. Chris's in-depth knowledge of history, architecture and traditions of this incredibly lovely city made it very informative and enjoyable. His subtle sense of humor was obvious and so was his ability to field a lot of questions. He also gave us great recommendations for food, coffee, book stores and beautiful walks that made our day so memorable. If you are looking for something beyond the routine tourist experience, he is your guide and we highly recommend him.
