A most amazing experience

The Upper Antelope Csnyon tour was everything I expected and more Rob, our guide was terrific. It was crowded but I didn’t feel rushed.
Must see

Our guide was amazing! So helpful with where to take pics and so patient and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend going. You do not need to be there so early though we went and checked in them got breakfast since we didn’t have to be there for another hour and a half!

Very happy with our tour! Took us 2 hours tour with the truck trip. Leo our guide was great! Even if we didn’t get the light of the mid day, I think the first tour was so much better cause we had the opportunity to take a lot of pictures without the crowds that came after. I also learned so many new features on my phone! And had the rest of the day to chill out in Lake Powell
Upper Antelope Canyon Tour

We totally loved our tour and tour guide. Leo helped us with our camera settings and assisted so we could all achieve great photos to remember our trip. He was very knowledgeable of the native legends and stories and shared all with us. I would highly recommend. One thing I would recommend you make clear to travelers is whether the tour operates on Page AZ time or reservation time as there was confusion since reservation doesn't follow daylight savings time. We did arrive early and were able to take an earlier tour which allowed us to view rooms within canyon with no other tourist for great shots.
Dusty, crowded, time critical
, Jul 2019
This tour started with a dusty 15 min jeep ride. It was very crouded plus there was only one way in and out of the canyon. Taking pictures without anyone else in the picture was almost impossible. If you can not get the 11:00 or 12:00 tour, I recommend not going, because you will not see the light beams and just a little of that nice orange/red color. Lower Canyon is not time critical due to a different shape.
Amazing views

Beautiful. We took so many pictures. We went right at noon, and our guide, Charlie, was very helpful. It's something like I've never seen before. It stinks that you have to be there an hour and a half beforehand. I know that they're trying to get all their "ducks in a row," but that's a long time to sit and wait. After checking in, we drove across the road to the marina just to be doing something. Also, when we checked in, our ticket person sitting at a folding table (because we had made reservations and paid online) said there was an additional $20 we had to pay, and he circled some things on our paperwork to show us. Unfortunately, we didn't question it and just handed him a $20 bill. After we walked away, we looked at what he circled, and it clearly said there would be an $8/person fee to be paid upon arrival, but then it listed suggested tip prices for our guide and ticket taker. So, he took a $2/person (so $4 total) tip for checking us in--when it was a suggested fee and not an actual fee. I thought that was just terrible. I know I should have questioned it, but I just assumed everything was on the up-and-up and didn't think someone would be trying to scam me by taking a darn tip for checking us in. That was really shady. I hope they don't all do that--maybe we just got a crappy guy that day.
Loved the tour but not the price

The canyon was absolutely beautiful and our guide was fantastic. We did discover once we arrived that tickets were $20 pp cheaper than what we paid online through Trip Advisor. That was a little disappointing.
Great Upper Canyon Experience

Great adventure. Never seen anything like this. Highly recommend taking this tour. Tour guide was very friendly and very informative.
Tour guide great; check in staff racist and rude
, Jul 2019
The guy who arrange us to get on a car was incredible rude and forcefully split my friend and I on the tour - even tho we mentioned that we are together during checkin. They made no consideration for it. The worst thing is, the guy who was the name announcer was a cocky arrogant man who said didn’t even look at me in the eyes and just have a very condescending tone. Overall, the experience with the actual tour guide, Andy, was great. He showed the place well. However, the entire experience was ruined because of the checkin staffs at this place - they are rude, arrogant, and to some degree racist.
Could have been........... much better.

Told to arrive 1.1/2 hrs before the tour, not necessary, limited shade and limited seating. Drive out to the canyon was ok. Upon arrival, got off the truck and went into the canyon. Within a couple of minutes, we were being harangued by a female guide of the next group to "keep moving - keep up with your guide - its a 90 minute tour not 2 hours"... this went on constantly. No time to enjoy the canyon, herded like cattle. I am a photographer and so glad I didn't pay the extra to take the "photographers tour". Essesntially you are sandwiched between 2 other groups and have no time. This was an experience I had really looked forward to but sadly it was a huge disappointment.
