This was a great tour!! It was much more than I expected. I met the bus at the central location and got on the bus. There were about 15 of us I think. Everyone was super nice and the guide did a great job. Both Erice and Segesta were amazing. We had time to walk around and even got a little snack. Of course theres a bit of walking, but you can decide what you want to do. Great way to see the countryside and learn more about Sicily. I was traveling on my own and met some really great people on the tour! I recommend!
Great sights. Great food. Great guide. I enjoyed the historical sights. The countryside is beautiful. The meal served in the Farm compound was outstanding. Take this tour.
Loved loved this tour. Would go again. The lunch was fabulous and made new friends who joined us for dinner. Wish we could have more time in the towns. Josephine a little hard to understand when the air conditioner in the van was on but otherwise she was up to the job constantly giving facts and information.
We had a wonderful day, Josephine our guide was very knowledgable and helpful. Lunch was delicious too. An excellent day out.
This is a great tour to visit Erica and Segesta that includes a nice lunch.
Very happy with this tour. Amazing places. The guide was on time and very informative.
Yesterday's outing was most enjoyable, informative and with a fabulous lunch at the farmhouse. Josephine and Rudy did a fantastic job and we definitely got great value for money.
This tour was exactly as presented. We had a lovely stroll through Erice, then a fabulous lunch at an Olive grove. The main attraction is Segesta and we had plenty of time to visit the site and climb to the top to see the ancient amphitheater. Highly suggest this tour.
Great tour with only 6 Passengers and a lovely Tour guide Fantastic morning tea and Lunch was Provided Highly suggest this tour
Tour was as advertised. Excellent guide and amiable fellow travellers. The lunch at an agrotourism farm was one of the unexpected highlights as well as the expected ones in Erice and Segesta.
Our drive from Palermo through the beautiful tranquil countryside of Sicily started our day. Our ride up the winding mountain slope, a great big thank you to our driver for his skill and experience, to reach the walled town of Erice. This lovely town offers cobblestone streets, quaint shops and spectacular views. The pastry and cappuccino was delicious too. We traveled onward to a olive oil estate Sanacore for lunch. After a brief education in olive oil, we were served the most delicious lunch by our hostess. We were a group of 12 from all over the world and we all agreed that the meal presented to us from beginning to end was one of the best. We felt as if we were eating in a family member's kitchen. Segesta offered the beautiful Greek temple and breathtaking surrounding area that included the theater.
Josephina looked after us brilliantly. The lunch was a particular highlight with the best melanzane alla parmigiana I can remember
What a fun and informative day! Tour guide, driver and van transport excellent. Lunch and brief olive oil tasting delicious. Pacing seemed good, just enough time at each site to soak it in and enjoy - though I could have used another hour at Segesta. Highly recommended!
This was actually the highlight of our trip to Sicily. Our outstanding tour director, Giuseppina, really knew the area and made sure we were all taken care of. Off the beaten path, Both Erice and Segesta are beautiful towns with local points of interest, They are famous for their olive oil, and our lunch at a premier olive grower and their beautiful farm house was fantastic. Our trip was a small group of 5 which added to the intimacy of the experience. Please don't miss this trip if you are in Sicily!
Everything was great.....Erica is full of charm and our guide Josephine was wonderful. Highly recommend her....thank you!
We were lucky to be the only people booked on the tour and had a wonderful day with Josephine. Erice is a beautiful place and whist the weather was overcast on the day we still enjoyed walking through this lovely town. The views are stunning and would be even more so in clear weather. We had a lovely Sicilian meal at a farm house before visiting the magnificent ruins at Segestra. Josephine was a wonderful guide and we thoroughly enjoyed our day with her.
Unfortunately, it was really foggy when I went and I hardly saw anything! But this tour was so amazing that I had a GREAT day anyway. Good food, good shopping, and an amazing guide. I really cannot recommend this enough.
This was a nice tour. The pace was relaxed and we got to see a lot. The tour included Erice a mindblowing medieval town close to Trapani. The views from the castle are amazing. Also included is a photo stop at one of the salt farms near Trapani. Lunch was at a family run farm. Here we got to taste some olive oil as well as eat a tasty selection of Sicilian food. Final stop for the day was Segesta, a Greek temple in the middle of nowhere. This was the highlight of the day for me. Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable and had a great sense of humour too. Cheers.
The Erice and Segesta day tour was very good. Segesta is outstanding.
Very well organized and plan. The food was delicious. We were a 15 people visitors group. We were picked in a single location and our time was well spent, we had good explanations and we had plenty of time to explore the cities. We had a great vegetarian lunch with good food, company and wine. we had explanations about the things we were seeing in the road and the things we were going to see in the cities. It was above average, the tour was a great way to see Erice, Segesta, but we also saw the Salt collection sites, wild life while we pass through them.
