This fun tour also includes a visit to Palermo’s Church of the Immaculate Conception. Don’t let its plain exterior fool you; the inside is home to an elaborate array of marble sculptures, baroque paintings and chandeliers.
tor was ok, but not quite complete as described. The capo market was really interesting and the food being sold was wild. There was a church in the middle of the market but the name escapes me for the moment the front doors look old and very worn, but inside the church with its statues and alters and the mosaics used are something to be seen. The tavern stories were not part of the tour, we did get our glass of wine and talked among our selves on a social level in the group.but the location was not at a tavern but in a sandwich shop.
