Meet your group and guide at Coco’s Restaurant in Palm Desert. Please note the departure time varies throughout the season based on sunset times. The exact time you should meet will be provided after you reconfirm your tour.
After you meet with your guide, jump in your 4WD Jeep to get your journey started. Your Jeep has no doors or windows, so you’re in store for quite the riding adventure. Drive by steep-walled canyons along the San Andreas Fault with the open air running through your hair.
As your tour makes its way through the desert, the sun will begin to set. Keep your camera ready for awesome pictures of the sunset in the valley. As night starts to fall, enjoy the scenery under the moonlight. The wildlife also starts to come out at nighttime, so make sure to keep your eyes peeled as you ride. Along the way, your guide tells you stories about the settlers that came to this area, as well as the Cahuilla Indians who once lived in the valley.
