Great time. Guides are knowledgeable. Scenery amazing. I would highly recommend. I will say that the first 15 minutes were a little difficult as it was very windy. After that downhill smooth ride.
Out guide Steve was knowledgeable and supported our ride throughout the morning with information, water and snacks. We recommend this tour for groups or families of older kids who can ride 20 miles and are interested in the desert geology and ecology of the valley. The ride is scenic and downhill but being in decent shape helps. Steve picked us up and narrated the trip to the start point, telling us about the area and the interesting sights. Great for out of towners who have an interest in the desert terrain and the history and geology of the area. The date shakes at the end were a great touch and we enjoyed seeing the date farms as they were getting ready to harvest August
Our tour was excellent! I would recommend the tour to everyone as long as the had our tour guide George. He was very knowledgeable and knew a lot of things about the history of the cities and the tour. We really enjoyed the entire tour.
Geo Jane was wonderful. There were only three of us on the ride, all experienced cyclists, so it was a very harmonious trip. Would definitely recommend for any level biking.. Very scenic and educational.

Awesome tour with friendly, knowledgable and enthusiastic guide. Wonderful scenery, easy cycling.
It was a great day with entertaining, insightful guides. Truth be told, our two guides have inspired me to apply for their job when I'm in my late 60's, 70's! This excursion was likely the highlight of my trip.
Excellent experience! The day was lovely, the guides knowledgeable and the ride was gentle and interesting. We would highly recommend this tour..

Utterly fabulous way to spend an afternoon. Don't be put off by the 20 miles - it's mainly downhill and very gentle. The date shake at the end is world class, as are the cookies provided at the midway point
My wife was worried when I booked this as she had not ridden a bike for about 10 year but this is suitable for those with little experience as basically flat or downhill. You do have to pedal but road is great and empty and the van following give that extra level of comfort. Afterwards we both thought it a higlight of the holiday despite ballon ride, wine tour, ariel tram, etc. It was really most enjoyable and you get a real sense of achievement.
We had an excellent time. Even though it was 110 later that day, it was warm, but completely enjoyable in the morning! Most of our group have not biked for quite some time, but had no problem here. Our guide was excellent - extremely personable and knowledgeable. We would highly recommend this tour to others!
Great peddling, super trip.
Tour does not pickup in Palm springs.

Knowledgeable guide who took care of us. The bike route was enchanting and easy and would have been overlooked by the uninformed visitor. Beautiful scenery and a wonderful guide who drove behind the group, ready to be helpful at all times. Very professional and worthy of recommendation and repetition another time. I hadn't ridden a bike for a while and it did not matter as route was flat or downhill, gorgeous bike ride.
Really fun way to see the desert. Hosts were relaxed and knowledgeable. Bussed us up to the top of a desert canyon where we picked up our bikes. My only complaint-despite asking for our heights in advance to assure we got the right sized bike, we were short any big ones and I got stuck on one much too small-These were definitely not performance bikes, and the trip might have been even more fun being able to really rip. But that's not what this cruise is about. For 20 miles you cruise downhill, the resistance setting on your bike at 0! Pedal only when you want-plenty of energy to talk to friends, enjoy the scenery-and almost get run over by a herd of mule deer crossing the road.
You can say you rode 20 miles through the desert, fueled by homemade cookies, plenty of water and snacks. And enjoy every minute of it.
Our guide was informative and nice. The scenery was great. The ride required little pedaling as it was mostly downhill. So I can't claim it as exercise! It was a good activity for our Palm Desert vacation
Had a great time. The guide was knowledgable. All the staff made sure it was a fun experience. The ride was not too difficult so it made the sights great. I would recommend this trip.
We were visiting my sister and brother inlaw in Palm Desert in early December. We decided on this bike tour as one of the things to do while there. We enjoy it alot, the scenery was beautiful. The bike ride was also very relaxing. We did feel just a little rushed by the guide though. We finished half hour before time schedule.Would highly recommend this as a must do if you are in the area.
A wonderful itenerary for a bike trip, across desert and though a canyon with a very knowolageable guide (Jane)
It was good. The guides were good. The bikes were good. It was good.
Heavy mountain bikes weren't the best choice for this road ride. The tour guide was nice, but I wish they'd had someone ride along with us and point out some of the geological points of interest we were passing through. Basically the tour guide follows behind in a van, carrying your stuff and laden with water and cookie treats.
One of the best parts was stopping off to get 'date shakes' after the tour - vanilla ice cream with date bits.
